@paintjob12 Listen to the backing track instead, poor you if you do not know Eminem songs at all :) He likes farting in his songs man, he simply does it :)
If you're from europe I'd buy a gladen one 60.6 dsp (not currently available yet), focal 165 a3 (front doors and dash 3 way), focal 165 a1 for the rear and in the back a focal sb30a1 sub. Count in some vibration damping material, wires and you'll end up at about 1500 euro.. That does sound like a lot but in return you get an awesome sounding system with a build in sound processor. You can also get a 120.4 dsp and just go with speakers in the front and a sub.
that was not bass, no box, no bass just air. You need a box for a Bass Woofer you should know that, I got a D-Pulse subwoofer, 250 RMS and windows are shaking, you know why ? cause the woofer is in a tube and not in free air,
@AndreWs7K It's called a baffle board, you don't always need an enclosure, especialy when building sound quality oriented setups where you want more range out of your woofer instead of a tuned frequency that you get with a ported box.
@Prototypexl It's not that I'm proud, I'm 18 and of course I dream about 2 Fi BTL 18 like many people, but for now, it's just enough. I didn't mean to be rude dude, I don't even know what frequency on my sub is better, cause it gives me the possibility from 40 to 250 Hz, and now it's on 50.. don't even know the difference, all I know is that when it's on 50 bass goes trought your body, when it's on 100 Hz or more it just gives you headache.
Piękna konstrukcja, szczególnie ten głośnik basowy na tej sklejce. Wydał 500 dolców i zrobił najgorsze car audio jakie kiedykolwiek ktoś zamontował w hondzie. Brawa za pomysł.
YOU HAVE IT ALL WRONG. im 15 and got a sound system of my one. first you NEVER hook up your speakers on the same amp as your subwoofer, your sub is ALWAYS low pass and speakers are ALWAYS high pass. second you ALWAYS put your subwoofers in a COMPLETLY consealed box, and the anp can be any where BUT inside, and JBL isnt very good, if you wanna go for bass you want, kicker, rocksford fosgate, menphis,
@cainlambert This in not entirely correct some amps will have a specific subwoofer channel with a LPF that is only applied to that channel. And a chouce of HPF/LPF for the others. And also the amp cannot be anywhere it is very important that an amp has adequate cooling. So Say under the seat is not reccomended but can be done none the less.
@cainlambert or REalpineinfinityorion(hcca) focalalphasoni 900 seriesi can go alll daylong oh and sundown audio little kid widen your horizon i am 19 have been working on them since i was 11 kicker is ok yes great for a good .88 sealed enclosure and always put subs in a sealed enclosure? wtf noooooo ex.....sundown audio sa-10 recomended for a 4 cbf box i think and it needs to be L port cornered braced enclosure and jbl is ok not the greatest its good for mids first know your facts.then talk shit
ALWAYS connect your power wire BEFORE you connect the ground. if you fail to do it that way you will see sparks and will be buying a new fuse in no time!...and trust me, a new fuse isnt much but it makes you jump when you forget to disconnect your power cap ground and go to put the ground back on the battery...
@PbEvilStump Thats actually incorrect, The first thing you hook up with ANY Component should be Ground, whether it be a remote start, amplifier, anything like that...
@DUBSVN no, thats why mechanics disconnect the ground terminal to your battery if they are doing anything electrical. if you have the ground already connected and try to connect the power you will get a big shock and sparks everywhere. and thats how you blow a fuse. this happens because of the ground completing the circuit. look it up man, dont want to pop fuses because of doing something stupid like that
@Yason760 I paid about 500 dollars for everything including wood. Later I bought some more wood and made the BOX for SUB. It gave me more bass which was not preferred by my beautiful wife as the car started shaking when I played my own RnB hits :) With a shelf in the video the bass would sound more sweet, no hard vibration on the seat from the back :) But I made a nice BOX and now my neighbors sell their houses twice cheaper on the market.
Uuuhm... wouldnt let you set my install up.. You should always leave youre cabels as short as possible! your battery + is to long. the longer the battery cabel the more heat it produces ans the more resistant it takes.. And when you use a non-free air woofer as a free air one, you wil most definatly break it after a while! And not realy sure but it looks like you also bridged youre amp wrong...
who runs 2 6 1/2s AND a 12 on the same channel? you will blow the fucking 6 1/2s. and plus without an actual trunk theres no sound chamber to create the bass that you want im pretty sure you didnt tune your amp and HU either
No, subs don't always need to be in a box.. Each subwoofer does come with a*free air resonance* you are pretty much using the trunk as the box.. Free air setups will need more power to get the same sound as you would using a box, but in some cases can save space for a really small car.
WOW! you know nothing about car audio! you are suppose to make a SUBWOOFER BOX for the subwoofer to create proper bass, please remove this video or at least change the title because you are filling car audio newbs with BAD KNOWLEDGE.
two things wrong your remote wire should be on the same side as the power cord and you should of used thicker power wire and ground wire not trying to sound like a dick or nothing just wanted to let you know but good video though
just like you said fast, true...really nice video, and clear sound just that if you put that sub in a box would bound harder...still nice video..good job bro...
Thanks for uploading, got me a pretty good idea of what i want to do before i did anything myself. You could spray paint the grills for the speakers the same color as your car, that would look pretty cool, or leave it black, either way it looks pretty cool. Again, thanks!

@awsomeness78 You have obviously chosen to be ignorant to how annoying and down-right malicious your "system" is to innocent bystanders. You can like loud music without being intrusive upon other people's privacy but it's not really about the love of music is it? It's about getting attention, regardless of how it's gotten. You aren't fooling anyone. Stop being so selfish.
@awsomeness78 Really? You don't know? Blasting a low frequency sound so loud it can be felt several blocks away. Just think of all the negative reactions you forcing upon the people who have no choice but to deal with it. Refer back to my original comment. Subjecting others to your loud, obnoxious "music" (bully) while in your car so can just drive away rather than face the consequences (chicken sh*t) and then just explain it away as "some people just like their music loud" (passive-aggressive)
Excellent Choice of JBL...But WHat happens when you will Put Subwoofer and highs and mids into one box? Subwoofer bumps and the pressure will make disortion on Mids and highs...But easy And Decent..Very great...
i love when your wife was getting the staple you were looking at the car, and i like how you know what your doing :D good job and nice system you got there!
the sub you say is 800/1000 watts is accually 275 watts rms and its getting about 300 watts assuming its bridged. so power is right but it isnt in an inclosure nor an infinate baffle. which the sub isnt rated for anyway. and the remote wire should be run on the side with power not signal. its all fine other than those things.
@19v93i02d26as Well, I don't think it makes any difference, as the tutorial is about installation, not about showing off. However as far as I remember the Amp is 1200 W or so, the Sub is 1000 W or so. The speakers are 150W each. All in RMS. Neither Sub, nor amp would play that loud anyway, max 300-400, however I doubt it would go that far. I do not know how to measure so I would let you know exactly.
@abatareika if u put the sub in a closed enclosure u will get beter sound quality and more power in jor car .. if u chose to make a ported box u will get more bass and air coming out but the quality wont be great ...ive a sub with 1200wmax /400wrms runing from 200w rms briged amp and it sounds good.. check my videos you`ll see what i mean.. do u speak lithuanian ??

Im looking for a good system that produces good sound. This is what i want to do:
- Have subs decent ones (not too expensive)
Then all the other audio to make it sound good so basically like a complete system. I just dont know the way to go or what brand and stuff.
I have a 1999 expedition, the speakers on that are not that good. I want to get better ones maybe take out those and put new ones in and add subs...
Whats the best brand for something that delivers good sound but is not expensive?

the sub you say is 800/1000 watts is accually 275 watts rms and its getting about 300 watts assuming its bridged. so power is right but it isnt in an inclosure nor an infinate baffle. which the sub isnt rated for anyway. and the remote wire should be run on the side with power not signal. its all fine other than those things.

First of all i saw your video just coz ur funny :)
now sharein some knowledge with u
The time u took that red wire in ur hand i knew that shit is BOSS :( boss is cheap :( no quality at all :( and that is not even 8 gauge :(
second of all a sub woofer should not be installed on a tray :( (SHELF)
a sub needs a ported enclosure (BOX) and it should not be too big or too small :(
message me up if u find that intrestin & watch my mirror bouncin video for better understanding ping me if u need help :)

nice tutorial ;) but ive 1 question to u what watts are the jbl amp and sub?? thanks

Of course man....... I more than happy to appreciate true people, who are dedicated and want to do something truly... :)
God bless you my friend........
And I am saying it again.....
You are different, because you are not a PIMP like others.... showing off the system.....
and you are good and kind in your words, and tone as well.
