Just by looking at replays you will notice the difference between someone who knows what they're doing and someone mashing all the buttons. I'm not saying you need to do 20 hit combos to win games, but maybe even... 2 hit combos? So how do you prove you're good? Get 30000 BP by boosting. That's a vicious circle.

Ayia would most likely woop everyone. There are a lot of bitter street fighter players who love to say "I'm better than that!" I heard the same tune after Daigo won evo 2010. If your not aorund the top of the leaderboards, thats because your not good enough to get there, since if you were you would'nt be complaining. When was the last time someone in the top 50, or 100 was caught whining? Never.

I think the reason why people are hating on Ayia is because there is no practical examples of how Juri should be played in this video. There haven't been any videos of him playing against any decent players either.

Chances are if there's a high level player on xbl/psn you are going to hear about that player within the community because of the skill they have. Not to mention that player should be known in their community for be a great player offline aswell. See how it works?

One of many reasons why there shouldn't be leaderboards in games. It's stupid that they are such a standardized feature when the majority of people high on them are terrible boosting players who have nothing better to do than feel superior for meaningless rank in a game. They really need to remove global leaderboards (just make friend leaderboards) because they promote boosting and make the community worse.

Actually any ranking system that allows users to customize the setting or tweak with the preferences can be able to boost fighting games. We need a ranking system where you can only search for connection quality and rank, oh also more fighting games should pick up what DOA4 did and only allow you to gain so many points when you fight the same person over and over again at any given time.
