HEY!!!! Just look at those massive sisters, the USS Ronald Reagan (CVN-76) and the USS Nimitz (CVN-68)!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA FOR SUCH A GREAT AND MASSIVELY-ADVANCED ARMED FORCES!!!!!
@thateldoo I'll keep my ears open for something on YouTubes music lists that might fit better than this one. They allow me to change to any of those anytime. Thanks
@thateldoo I was unable tonight to find any music that fits here, so I found some surf sounds to add for now. I figure that is what I hear, for the most part, when I stand there filming, (although the surf is very very low because it is the bay.) Until some good music is offered on YT I don't know what else to do with the sound.
@thateldoo You'll have to ask YouTube for that. I liked the original too but they still silence movies for copyright from time to time. Some they allow more now than before though.
The QE carriers are conventionally powered and will be alot smaller than the Nimitz class carriers. But the two carriers will be powerful for the UK navy.
Greetings from the Czech Republic, I like your videos very much! I can write this here now thanks to the president Reagan's policy. This man initiated and maintained the decisive pressure on the Soviet Union and then the fall of communism in Europe fallowed. Great man!
I am very grateful to America I can live in a free country now. Thank you all who support your armed forces - without them there would be only chaos or tyranny and no democracy in the world.
Greetings to you as well, my friend! Thank you VERY much for your comments. Your words mean very much in a society that is being bombarded with liberal bias propaganda by the media here (not to mention Ytube morons).
where did u get these amazing shots? i know my husband will be out to sea for training when i arrive there to move and my mother and i want to see the ship come in from the sea and watch it under the bridge and such. any good places like this right on the water to watch it?
That was very well made. The watching that beautiful ship with that great music was very moving. And knowing that it's purpose is to defend freedom and democracy around the world makes me proud to be American. Thanks!
apoure25, Yes, I also have three films of the USS Nimitz. I'll be filming the USS Reagan again fairly soon, and hope to have time to film the carrier USS Washington as well. Thanks everyone for leaving your comments!
What a superb ship. God Bless all who sail in her. Keep us safe from our enemies.I am an Englishman and I would very probably have had to have learnt German or Russian if it had not been for US military might. Thank you.
That is an impressive ship. I have been to the Yorktown in Charleston harbor and it is large but this thing is much larger. Reagan was a great president and his name belongs on a ship like this.
I have been at the intrepid when the JFK was next to it and I thought WOW. This video makes the JFK look like a peanut. I would love to see all three next to each other.
Thanks for all your comments! Also, a new film of the USS Ronald Reagan is available for viewing at my "TallSky" channel. It is a film of her deployment on May 19, 2008. I hope you all enjoy the new film also. May God bless you all.
Thanks for this.. it is a very awesome video and to all who posted before and after about your loved ones being on this monster of a ship .. thank you! and thank them! WOW!!
God Bless President Reagan as he dwells with the Almighty! May any symbol of American strength and might always bare the name of Ronald Reagan! BTW love the incorporation of the title theme to Band of Brothers. That song always brings a tear to my eye.
WhoooAaaahhhh! Whatta site the newest and oldest Reagan sailing past Nimitz soon G HW Bush will be commisioned leaving the G R Ford now being built to round out these fighting ladies. So inspiring to sea our Naval might up close.
My husband is on that boast as we speak and will go out in may...i miss him so very much and he was on the flight deck when this was filmed. It makes me proud, thank you for this video!
My son is on the Reagan, leaving San Diego today for a 6 month deployment. By the time they get back to port it will have been a year since I've seen my son, but I think it could only be worse if he'd joined the Army and ended up in the sanbox.
My son, who is finishing his "A" school in Pensacola, just received orders to report to the Reagan this spring.
I could not be more proud of him. He is my hero. - Corny as it sounds. He is and always will be. This is a mighty ship. I watch this video a couple times a week. It takes my breath away.
And you are right about the Reagan. When downtown SD I am in awe seeing that ship across the bay. What a magnificent sight; never get tired going out of my way to look.
I will never forget the my duties, responsibility, and being a plankowner of the greatest Naval ship named after the greatest President. It was an honor for me to serve my country aboard the USS Ronald Reagan. Fair winds and calm seas.
Thank you...! An awsome video representing the finest President EVER...and the best of the best...the United States Navy! It brought tears to my eyes...
My brother is on this ship. We just recently went on it in November for a Family day cruise. I tell you this ship is a monster. Bring on those iranian speed boats
I have never thought much about the song "Hail to the Chief", but your video puts this song in a whole new context. To see this gigantic machine, and these hundreds of sailors, moving out in President Reagan's name? That's really impressive, it's really an honor to him.
You know im not a republicab or democrat but ill tell you 1 thing this was the best president we ever had because of 1 major issue. He built our military up to where we can defent ourselves. Only for bush to tear it to shreds.
every so often a U.S. ship will port in Freemantle (Perth) Australia. It's so cool to see the professionalism and discipline of the U.S. military...unlike the Aussies who are usually ass-scratching and sloppy.
How fitting a tribute to the great President Ronald Reagan. The strength and grace the USS Ronald Reagan exemplifies that of the man. All thanks to President Reagan and all men and women who serve to defend our lives and freedom. A beautiful tribute to President Reagan and the USS Ronald Reagan. The spirit lives on.
Proud to be an AMERICAN

Rest In Peace, President Reagan...
I was in the Navy during his Presidency. As Commander-In-Chief, he was the best; he was very well respected, and liked by the military.
A great President very deserving to have this GREAT ship carry his name.
