in 2001 Mormons came knocking at my door with this video of the Easter story.Non Religious i thought "what a load of rubbish", weeks later i found the video (it was video then) and played it...never in my Christian life have i felt so guilty of my sin before God.It was this video and the Mormons that brought me to an "open door" to God.
Although a Methodist preacher and do not agree with Mormon Doctrine entirely i do believe that God uses many ways to bring people to HIM.This was one of them.XXX
@lcsdw01 - this is a fantastic rendition of the Life Jesus led and what it was all for. This is possibly one of the most moving, powerful video I have ever seen about "The Christ!"
@saltwateroS I don't want to ruin anything about the movie for you and I hope telling you this only enhances it even further. When Jesus embraces the male being in the spirit world it is not God. If you remember, this event transpired immediately after his death. Later, he was resurrected and appeared to Mary and said that he had not ascended to his father. So who did he embrace? In class we hypothesized that it was one of two people. John the Baptist or more likely, Adam, saying,"Thank you!"
If only He was still alive, he would be helping us fight cancer and other illness. but he still is - up from above. we pray as He helps anything we need.
@Diana2die4 - yes... all of it was biblical, however... for example: Peter said that Christ went to preach in the "Spirit world." How it is enhanced is that we have new revelation regarding that event and have included this in the presentation. A church that receives such revelation would know additional information that was not found in other ancient text. It would behoove you to discover for yourself MORE of the mission and life of Christ as it is provided from the fountains of his church.
@mitsupitsu44 - Everything even down to the Savior visiting the Spirit world (as Peter reported as well as found in the gospels itself... remember? Jesus said he would preach in the Spirit world...)
It's all biblical. Additional information is also revelation based on what is Biblical.
I assume you know someone who is a seminary or institute teacher and that is how you obtained this version of the video.Maybe I'm wrong, but when I first saw this video about 20+ years ago that was the only way one could see it. About 5-10 years later it came out as a stripped down version known as "The Lamb of God".It changed my life after I saw it.I got a copy from an institute teacher and used it on my mission. It was a very powerful tool and helped bring the spirit to many discussions.
@quechanta - indeed... actually I got this from some missionaries but I know why you said this. I enjoy this version simply because it delves into some of the "Post-Resurrection" of Jesus Christ; unlike other mixes/versions of the same footage. It had to be split into 3 parts just to fit it here but OH what a production it was. It wasn't hard to "split them" using a MMM program. I uploaded it with "assumed permission" based on the fact that it was handed to me by missionaries and yes, playable.
I absolutely love the part they added in "To This End Was I Born" from the "Lamb of God" video where Christ visits those in the Spirit world: the music, the lighting and effects; everything is very powerful.
well, not so much anymore, I did until my freshman year. The second day I switched to baritone horn. I'm a senior now so it's been a while. Thanks for asking though haha
