Double edged sword here. Money, jobs and opportunity will be plentiful, but what's to keep Africa from being exploited, like it has been time and time again? Many of these "investors" will be foreign, and then once again, apartheid. And let's not forget about the environmental impact industrial revolutions has on nature. Africa is one of the last bastions of vast ancient bio-diversity, let's keep it that way.

WOW ! Economic growth across the continent at 6% the U.S grows at a rate of 1 % China grows at a rate of 12% India grows at a rate of 8% Russia I don't know but they are a force to be reckoned with.

@DIJV79 This is a sign of time,first is china, second is India,then malaysia and Rusia, So now is Africa, Africa has All source of nutural resources plus Hugh population over a billion, it will be a big profit both for the investors and the country they investing in and If not we can do it ourselves because we now had the skills too, the best enginers and Doctors abroad are Africans so, all our governmant needs to do now is to bring them home,This is time for africa and nothing will stop us.

interesting, could there be new trend that involves the emerging world powers (China,India, Russia,etc.) investing in Africa en masse? if so African countries could easily see growth comparable to that of China and South korea.
