@mycahman The top animated block of the lava does not actually damage you, it is the solid lava tiles beneath the animated one that kills you.

The only problem with this video is the fact that Kaizo requires EXTREME save-state abuse, or rewinding. Most vid-cap software rewinds with SNESX and gives the illusion of a perfect speed run.

yea, the idea at the end with the thomps was pretty good, i never made it big cause the part with the whines was too annoying for me. but the rest was lame. everyone who uses slowdowns and shit like that don't got the idea of games like that. (savestates are o.k, otherwise it takes a livetime to master the whole game :-)
