  • It took longer to LOAD than to LEVEL...lol

  • 0.1

  • How do you have the guy with 200 iron ingots when I talk to them he has only 10

  • @5lololol 100 smithing is great. I made my Dragonscale armor. i'm fine for now.

  • @MultiHpnotiq what difficulty you on? because I made 2 accounts 1 with 100 smithing and 1 without, and I am on master, and I saw that the one without 100 smithing was stronger/ harder to kill.

  • How the hell do they have so many iron ingots? Every time I do that they have 10!

  • LOL i did this without realizing enemies get better now its like imposible to kill them ha

  • 0:28 Its actually zero point one LOL

  • is this the guy from nextgentactics?

  • how do you turn 1.1 pounds(the bar/ignot and the strips) into 2 pounds of dagger...lol

  • it's not that bad, but all the enemies and shit like dragur get stronger too as u level up so make sure if ur getting like 90 smithing for daedric armor then you should have like 50-60 one handed, or destruction or whatever you do otherwise your gonna get butt raped

  • KEEP THE DAGGERS TO ENCHANT ON

  • I already do this method but I keep the iron daggers then enchant them :)

  • Yep, there are some creatures that will level up with you, but, at lvl100 smithing you can craft better stuff, or u can use the perk points in combat or armor abilities so it may get a bit harder after doing this, but just a bit, eventually it will end up balanced

  • so she just happens to have 145 INGOTS?! what is this

  • My smithing is lv 70 i need 10 more lvs to be able to craft ebony armour and weapons

  • @killman29man Thanks for letting us know

  • Why don't you buy iron ore and transmute it into gold? you spend 6 gold and sell for 50

  • Overall how many leather strips and iron ingots do you need and how much does it all cost? thx guys

  • 0:11 THATS how you say smithing? I mean it's no big deal, people hardly use it anymore but I thought it was smaaithing. But no...it's smithing...Wow, I don't know it's all so weird, it's like you wake up one day and realize your mother is an evil robot sent from an alien planet to destroy all humankind... I need to lie down

  • 5 minutes? Pft. There's no fun in that...

  • ok there's only one problem i can see. if you plan on exploring any dungeons, the enemies don't level as you do, however some dungeons will change what kind of enemies due to your level. for instance i went into a dungeon early on and found draughs. later i returned and found deathlords. since your combat skills won't be very high it can cause some trouble.

  • im level 6 and i cant get into the shop...when can i get in there?

  • does this still work?

  • Nope hitler ur screwed :p

  • :( I killed all the shopkeepers :( do any1 know if they come back :P plz reply :P

  • @TheHitlerBart Nope. No one in the game respawns except the guards. You can almost make Skyrim a dead province, really.

  • @TheHitlerBart ROFL. no they dont come back lolz

  • @TheHitlerBart the guy at the skyforge

  • @TheHitlerBart they dont

  • @TheHitlerBart last i knew if you kill a shop owner a relitive will take over the shop. idk what happens if you kill that person to

  • @TheHitlerBart Just load a saved game from when u had shopkeepers. Pretty sure thats the only way

  • @TheHitlerBart they dont come back sorry =P

  • @TheHitlerBart Your fualt, have to start a nnew char. to get them back

  • I just got the 100K gold achievement....awww yeeeeeee Iron Ingots galore

  • is it the same experience for everything you make?

  • I have 3000 gold lolol.

  • you have the smallest lisp i have ever heard that i barely noticed it, but i did

  • It just looks good on paper. It levels your character really quick! But but what about offensive stats while the enemies own you? Not an exploit. A feature.

  • @54pen455 enemies dont level up with so as long as u stay within the whiterun riverwood area ur fine

  • @daandriod because you are higher level now

  • @Daandriod because you are a higher level now, for example from lvl 90 to 100 it takes about 9 daggers for a level up. Just buy the strips and ingots whenever you enter a city and forge some daggers.

  • It takes about 5 daggers to make me jump one level.

    can anyone explain why?

I have it on xbox with no patches whatsoever.

  • Wouldnt the Warrior Stone help Smith Level Up faster?

  • Warning: do not get 100 smithing... because as you level up so do NPC's, smithing levels them up in their attack abilities, get 100 in one handed or destruction... It will increase your chances.

  • @5lololol you are sorta right. the npc's remain the same level, however the type of npc will change. for instance instead of seeing just normal bandits, you'll fight bandit highwaymen who are quite a bit stronger. however they're level are always the same. very few npc's level with you in this game

  • @5lololol so if i do this.....it will come with a consequence?......dang im too late

  • @5lololol so i can still kill them even if im under level 25 (created a new profile) and i have not dies once for doing so

  • @5lololol is this true?

  • @wowwowcrif yes, but if it helps, get smithing to 70 as Daedric is way better than Dragon, in looks and in stats.

  • Cant u get free strips of leather at riverwood blacksmith cause u can do the tanning thing

  • Making daggers is smithing. How do you train Smithing, you smith. How stupid are you to call this an exploit.

  • @finalfatasyfreak49 Its barely an exploit though I mean the only way to raise your smithing...is by smithing so what else are we going to do?

  • how did they have 172 ingots for me they only had 10

  • @finalfatasyfreak49 This isn't a cheat or glitch in any way. It's called being clever

  • You guys don't just have to use iron... Once you're high enough to make dwarven, just go to a dwarven ruin and pick up the scrap metal there. 1 piece of scrap metal = 1 dwarven ingot. Not only do you get your level up faster, it's absolutely free. (except for leather strips but those barely cost anything)

  • This does NOT take 5 fukin minutes but I managed to complete it over the period of 3 days and im lvl 23

  • Also i think his comment: MAssively level if he was stupid... if he knew anything he would no that you can over level (where the enemies have levelled with you but your not increasing your combat skills.... so it actually makes the game a little bit harder ...... )

  • Enchant the daggers after you get them (if youve got enough soul gem charge) and then youll be able to level enchantment at the same time.. also when i did this it took me a few hours getting all the ingots.. they mightve patched it because now you can only get about 20 of any blacksmith..

  • I has 92 smithing due to making iron ingots... cost me like 6k :P

  • witch State???

  • She only has 10-20 ingots a day for me :(

  • its the same tip in the inside xbox channel.

  • I found this out as well as I played; but it's more like an exploit...

This is very good because you can FIND iron ore to smelt and kill deers, elks, wolfs etc. for mats.

This also gets you some gold, and don't worry if your combat skills can't keep up; you can keep the perks for later.

  • fuck bitches

    get daggers

  • Iron Ingots - 69. He he

  • Another good way to get leather is to simply hunt, not a day passes when I don't see at least 5-10 deer or other animal in the forest that I can easily take down with the simple flame spell.

  • O _o she does nooot have dat maaany

  • DON'T DO THIS!

I had to start again as I was fighting lvl 30 monsters, with lvl 15 combat skills. Smithing got me up too fast for my combat skills to catch up

  • @Harvoable lolz you fail

  • for me they have like 40 ingots

  • erhm yes and lets just forget that they have a very limited amount of iron ingots....

  • thats hugely helpful thanks dude

  • This guy has no idea what hes doing..

  • i thoght this was the actual IGN youtube channel not 1 just for skyrim. bet you never noticed :P

  • Holy SHIT Loading times are long on consoles!!

I barely get any loading screen on PC, except when i start up the game the first time in a session.

  • @ichbinein123 They are really short for me on a console, ps3 less than 30 seconds.

  • @TheDynastking ha suck it 360 has about 5secs

  • @TheDynastking WHAT THE FUCK? I HAVE ALMOST 2 MINUTES. WHAT'S THIS GAY SHIT?

  • @TheDynastking I have over 300 hours played (PS3 been up weeks now).

  • @ichbinein123 yep that's right, it freakin' sucks

  • No fucking way, is that you dustin?

  • How do you get them to sell over 145 Iron? i can only get them to sell like 20-30 at a time.

  • Of course it makes sense. If you get to level 10 to level 25 from purely smithing, your one handed/melee/magic skills aren't the ones that are levelling you, so they are way below the level they should be. E.g: I have 26 one-handed at level ten, and I use smithing to get to level 25. I'm still at 26 one-handed, so I don't do nearly as much damage as I should. That idea is the basis of the whole game, and the idea of choosing classes, etc. I would rather level more slowly through combat skills.

  • @ExyIed On the other hand, you can make all of your equipment about 70% better with 100 smithing...

  • @ExyIed Levelling your weapon skill does nothing for your damage. It's the perks that upgrade your damage, levelling up is just used to unlock the perks.

  • it is funny when an american tries to pronounce a nordic name xD

  • Does anyone think that skyrim should make storage system?

  • @grbrot umm buy a house...?

  • @FOsHo112x Oh... cheers man

  • Do you have to buy ignots, or can they just be any ignot?

  • @Benkaten If you find a way to build iron daggers with any other metal please let me know... *facepalm*

  • @12345hallam Let me refrase, Do you have to buy the iron ignots or can you make/find them

  • @Benkaten You can buy them from blacksmiths and general stores (both ingot and ore) and you can also mine them but... for times sake just buy them.

  • Nice good to know bud i have to skill the smithing skill to make gooder ammor right

  • I think this is starting to relate to Runescape. but the game is great anyway =)

  • @DragsZombies what in the world does skyrim have in comon with a shitty game like runescape?....

  • @Madkrillz95 Hey just because Im making a comparison with the smithing in this game and the way you level it up can relate to runescape doesnt mean you can Troll up on my post. Go find better and more constructive things to do and STOP TROLLING! think before you post

  • @Madkrillz95 the smithing skill and combat skills are sorta the same but ur write runescape suks

  • @chrisza9 there was not many correctly spelled words in that centence,

  • @Madkrillz95 yeh lol its because i dont like to type some words so i just use there letters to make em short

  • 3rd way is just a spoiler, so I won't bother going into detail... Basically its just making an opponent bug, unable to be killed or attack you back. It gets boring pretty quick, but is useful if you are on the borderline of leveling or need a level to get a perk. x)

  • Plus another thing you can do to improve Heavy Armor or Light Armor... even any weapon...

Get the Healing Hand skill, attack an opponent, when he/she gets low-- Heal them. You improve your Weapon skill and Restoration.

  • Better tip: Wait until you get around 10-15k Gold.

Doing this early pretty much screws over your combat ability.

I did this at level 37 (I believe) and got to about Level 41.

Really should focus on leveling with combat skills at first than just petty ways.

  • Lol :D

  • He bought 69 ingots

  • this is for noob

  • @mirnihak Yep, its for you.

  • just below .. in the stream, there is a dragon body, search it for a silver ring gives u 300% increase to smithing. :D

  • @sujits226 Really? 0.o What stream?

  • @TheUltraluke right there in the front.. below the bridge.. there is a dragon body. search it :D

  • @sujits226 i dident find any dragon :(

  • I rather find epic gear than get it this way...

  • Dude, make the hide braces, way cheaper!

  • Comment removed

  • Why was she only selling 14 iron ingots for me? she had over 100 for you...

  • LOL. And i spended 30k+ gold to Dwarven ingots... THX DUDE! :D

  • @aeaon Dude just go to a Dwarven ruin and pick up scrap metal off the floor. No need to waste money

  • I made figured out the hide bracers technique waaay before this. just make thousands of hide bracers...cheap and fucking effective...

  • "Ours daggers will block out the sun!"

  • It would be really awesome if you guys can show us how to create dwarven or elven armor. Also how to mine those materials.:D

  • @DK988 well when you level up you put perk points into smithing to learn those...as for mining easiest way is if you have a full map go to all the mines and mine em out for the ore

  • I think it's cheaper to just make leather gauntlets.

  • i think this is one of the first thing i did in game lol bough a shit lad and smith

but then i though i had to smith dwarven armour for it to level faster

so i went and stoll all the warven junk from marcath and melted it dwarven ingots (had over 170)

  • nice tip

  • 1:55 yeah rub that dagger

  • I don't get why, but my vendor only sells 18 iron ingots at a time o.O

  • Actually gotten onto lvl 100 Blacksmiths. Cost me roughly 9k of golds and couple hundreds of Iron and Leather Strips xD. Nice guide!

  • great little......crap!

  • couldn't you just buy iron ore and smelt them and then make daggers

  • thx for this vid dude :) helped me a lot you guys should do more of these!

  • @LeandroO182 How are they going to "patch" this? This isn't even a glitch or cheat, it's called being clever and efficient.

  • Comment removed

  • I'd like to point out something that you missed off, it takes some time, but if your like me, all it means is to buy stuff, here's how to add lots of gold and enchanting to the list:

    1. buy lots of soul gems

    2. use a conjured weapon and get the perk that makes it cast soul capture on creatures you hit.

3, do a dungeon with the shiny sword

    4. craft lots of dagger

    5. go to the local enchanting table and enchant (preferably drain health) all the daggers you made

    6. sell them for a greater profit

  • @harsteu That was such a good idea, started making gold in the 1000's compared to the 100 i was when selling the daggers. :)

  • @harsteu yo man make a vid on that it would help

  • @harsteu nice tips

  • This works, but the hard part is finding a bunch of iron ingot. i dont know how in the hell she was selling 145 at once in this video, cause she sells maybe 18 at once in my game.

  • @TheAtomicReagan I'm with you, it varys from as low as 10 to like 23 or so, I would have to wait 48 hours then get more, no way she has 145, also... you can just go to the misc menu its alot faster then searching through the whole inventory.

  • mock me about playing skyrim and me being a geek... but my MOM says im cool ok?!

  • you can hit the LB button to skip them 10 at a time and make more transactions to get more speech points too

  • 69 iron ingots..

  • hahaa i actually saw the comment in the last smithing tutorial video they made about this xD

  • Post how to level up a block skill. Just attack your companion so he becomes aggresive. then just block all his attacks. Block 70 in about 10 minutes. Thumbs up :D

  • @Saeth123 how do they get unhostile?

  • @BitingCatProductions fast travel or waiting. Then go to place where you first picked him up.

  • So much easier to just turn Iron into silver and make a bunch of jewelry.

  • thanks for telling me after I already spent 40 hours doing this! ;)

  • The building's is "Warmaidens" the name is right on the the bloody local map!

  • I have like 4.5k gold been saving for a house feel like doing this with it now though. hmmmm

  • @IDBC94 buy the house

    it has food...

  • @domalexbray food? I have a lot of that, I tend to just throw it away

  • i have the ps3 version of the game and it looks like crap! in face every game on my ps3 looks crappy but not my xbox. what can i do? i have a 1080p tv too!?!?!?

  • @xSparky117x Switch HDMI out puts..it worked for me

  • @Mrblackhawk2761 what do i switch them too? or are you talking about switching the midi cord

  • @xSparky117x Welll you said you have a xbox and you have 1080p...so if you have both HDMI cables for xbox an playstion..switch them

  • Is this a bug or just an exploit of normal game mechanics?

  • @Flyingpanzyking It's normal

  • also buy iron ore because you can just smelt those in the smelter in front of you and there about 3 times cheaper than bars.

  • Dude it took longer then 2 seconds.

  • add leather strips. add leather strips. add leather strips.

  • Leather strips, l leather strips leather strips leather strips leather strips leather strips leather strips leather strips leather strips leather strips leather strips leather strips.

  • Just spam makeing iron daggers or leather bracers

  • actually making leather braces are much easier and cheaper

  • anyone else see the word gullible at 5:26

  • @snipes081 son of a buiscit you toook my lungs didnt you oh wait i still have themand i am not that gullible im more

  • @jamiromonster you spelled biscut wrong

  • @snipes081 lol you got me!
