I think an artist with more than 9.000 or even 500+ subs can't be underrated!!

There are soooo many artists with less than 100 subs, which are great. (And I'm not talking about me;) )

i find it unfair. maybe because im loyal to the manga community. but photo realistic is much more of a feat then manga and success stories(r.i.p). either way, barry is blessed and take nothing from him. im subscriber 989. go sub!

Merrill is a great guy truly, he helped someone he doesnt even know massivly and he helps people draw. what a guy!!!

Okay am I the only one thinking that Kazanjianm is feeling ridiculously important. Each one of his videos don't usually pass 10000 views? He's not a very skilled artist and thinks he managed to make the "youtube art community come together"?!! Ridiculous

That was a great project that you did ! :) About the contest, a drawing contest is a good idea, something with pencils and creativity. A large subject about something. But for example, I don't have camera,can I just take pictures with a friends camera or scan the making of ? I live all the way in Estonia, I can't send it too... I'm already thinking ahead...

I have been suggesting for the past 5 years that YouTube should have a Visual Arts category. We get lost below the makeup tutorials, most that are sponsored by the makeup companies. Unfortunately Visual Artists have no support from YouTube or from sponsors.

@tjw1963 That is frustrating, especially hearing that news from YOU, Teresa. You truly know all of the ins and outs of YouTube. I was a economics major as an undergrad and I realize that our niche will never have the market of cosmetics, BUT perhaps we can team up for this quest and mobilize some of the heavy hitters and each release a video simultaneously....Is there a way to create a group playlist to organize various messages?
