it's not just about implants!!!! it's about auditory verbal therapy, definition "Learning To Speak and Listen", and yes when implants are used there is a risk and of course those risks are explained to the parents and the children. But Hear and Say help so many children be able to live in the hearing world, they end up with the same opportunities as every other child. God save ur soul for being so damn negative!!!

crazy crazy the poor souls drilled inside their poor little brains! i'm too scared to have implants! my poor friends with cochlear implants backfired. their faces dropped to the side, infections and smelly puss. they are just hiding the real facts that implants are a REAL risk. God save their souls AMEN.

why does this have only 4 stars. geez, come on!! my mother and brother both have the cochlear implant! it does wonders for them. my mom couldn't talk on the phone my whole life, now she finally can. I have worn hearing aids since age 17 and they say I will be eligible for cochlear implant one day!
