  • future retro sounds like pogo sticks

  • @OmgRunHax1: You're talking about the music in this specific video, right? The music playing during the "Future Retro Set Construction" is an early version of "Pogo Sticks". That's why it sounds like Pogo Sticks.

  • @dogman15 That totally Fascinating! thx 4 sharing!

  • stick figures sounds like some kind of pipe dream

  • Can you mayebe post also set constructions of videos like future retro and stick figures because I don't have the animusic 1 dvd and the special edition either.

  • @keyboardjeff: It's too time consuming for me to rip content from a DVD, even though I have done it in the past, and I'm not always succesful. The two programs I use (ripping and converting) require me to do guesswork as to which title is the one I want, going only by (seemingly) random numbers.

You can get the Animusic 1 DVD at the official website for $15.95, or both DVDs for $27.75.

  • @dogman15 Thanks, but can I downoad some of the songs somewere?

  • @keyboardjeff: Not that I know of. I don't actively search for that kind of stuff. Besides, I bought the CDs months ago, anyway. Try finding one of the songs on YouTube in full, then use ListenToYouTube (dot) com. Your audio quality will be inferior to that of a 44.1 kHz CD, but that's what you have to live with when you want free music.

You know, Animusic's songs (as MP3s) just might be on iTunes and/or Amazon. I don't have iTunes, but I just checked Amazon and they only have the CDs,no MP3s

  • @keyboardjeff: And Amazon charges you more than Animusic does for Animusic's merchandise.

  • acoustic curves construction is a slight delay

  • @jessica301980: I said that in the video description.

  • just to let you know pepole stick figures and aqua harp sound like the same. are they? no. auqua harp added strings i think a zither

  • the set construction music for Future Retro is obviously the place they got Pogo Sticks from. It's so catchy!

  • @Hildron101010: Yes. It was an early version of Pogo Sticks. They were developing Animusic 2 at the same time that they were creating the Special Edition Animusic 1 DVD. That's why it has a sneak peek at Cathedral Pictures.

  • #2-#3

    Call it "Pipe Dream Remix"

  • @MozartJunior22: You can. There's instruments there that aren't in the Pipe Dream room, and the melody/rhythm only someone resembles "Pipe Dream 2".

  • ta lindo

  • @rafaxox1: What does "ta lindo" mean?

  • The song for future retro is definitely pogo sticks and doesn't the construction song for stick figures and aqua harp sound like the same song??

  • @dramaticpickles: If you had read the video description, you'd see that I already covered those observations, but thanks anyway. I'm glad you were able to make them on your own.

  • For Aqua Harp Set Construction Song, it bears slight resemblance to a portion of Starship Groove...

  • @NoNameLikeThisOne

I'd have to agree with that.

  • All these songs sound, COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from the completed ones. And before you think im understudying, I will just say, "I'M MOT!"

  • @phantom60504:

What do you mean by the "completed ones"? You're not referring to Animusic 3, are you? Songs 1, 6, and 7 already exist in other forms: #1 is an early version of "Pogo Sticks", #6 is the first part of "A Slight Delay", and #7 is a broken-down version of the ending section of Harmonic Voltage. And understudying? What's that, are you an intern at Animusic or something? Am I extrapolating too much?

  • Whats the song at 1:47?

  • @phantom60504:

Stick Figures Set Construction, for lack of a better name.

  • my favorite at 1:48

  • At 7:03, it's actually a bonus song on the animusic sound track called "A Slight Delay"

  • I said that in the video comments, just not in the in-video annotations. Click "more info" under the date.

  • the first song is in animusic 2, stick fugures...it was modified a little bit but its really close.

The song for Harmonic voltage is the actual song for harmonic voltage minus the main synth. Hope it helped.

Animusic 3 to come in 2010 some time!

  • I REALLY hate to burst your bubble, but...

    1. I already knew that the first song is from Animusic 2's Stick Figures.

    2. I already knew that the song playing during Harmonic Voltage is the same thing minus some instruments.

    3. I'm eagerly looking forward to Animusic 3 next year. I knew it was in development and I already had a pretty good idea of when it is coming out.

Thanks for showing so much enthusiasm!

  • So waht you are saying is that im a noob and cant help others out.....

So if this is the type of person you are then have fun. I dont work with ass'es ( yes im calling u a donkey). Just get over it for gosh sake.

  • You're not a noob. I'm just trying to politely tell you that I already knew those things. If you want to share that information with other people, then that's great. I'm sorry if I offended you, but I do ask that you would refrain from calling other people asses. I do not tolerate improper language like that. Thank you, I'm sorry, and now I'm over it. Have a nice day!

  • Pogo Sticks actually, the song for that was created BEFORE Animusic 2.

  • for song 2, i think "electric strings" would be a good name

for song 3, it sounds like music that would be in a snes/n64 game, so, maybe that could be called "new retro" or something along those lines

  • "Electric Strings" works well for Song #2.

Super Nintendo/N64? If you think so, sure. But you can't call Song #4 "New Retro", 'cuz we've already got "Future Retro."

  • i think they should put it in animusic 3

  • These songs would be cool to see animated in Animusic 3.

  • you know, i heard that they're revealing 3titles so they could be sonic warfair or paddle ball! (the 3rd one is super pipe dream)

  • I think I heard that too. The Animusic newsletter is an excellent thing to subscribe to.

  • this is nice how did you record it

  • Excuse me, I misspoke. In a rare occurance, I actually recorded the DVD audio right to a CD, and then I ripped the CD to my computer. Kinda roundabout, huh?

  • yeah.

  • i like "a slight delay"

  • You should get the CD at Animusic's website.

  • well, i do have the dvd, but not the cd

  • Only $12.95 at their store.

  • Great video and sound quality!

  • Thank Windows Movie Maker.

The video came from the official website's 1024x768 desktop backgrounds.

The audio came from the DVD, which was recorded directly to a CD and then burned to my computer. Usually, I record from the sound source (game system or DVD player) right into Audacity on my computer.

  • Very cool!

  • And by "burned", I of course mean "ripped".
