ready to make bad shot choices, force passes, and think he's better than he really is? yeah i agree. believe me, im a huge maryland fan but i cant stand vasquez. he is a good player, 19 ppg and 9 apg. but he also has like 7 turnovers per game. and if the stat for "ill advised shots" was kept, he'd lead the nation. he doesnt let anyone change him, and despite his size and skill, no NBA coach is gonna want to waste time trying to change his bad decision making skills.

thank you. i couldnt agree more. some NBA team is gonna take a risk on Hayes and it will pay off. Hayes does all the stuff Vasquez does, without the flash and cockiness. Im a huge maryland fan and always will be, but i cant stand vasquez. no one on maryland except him is about flash. maryland is a blue collar team who do their work quietly, and vasquez does not in any way fit that mold.

I support him, but even Gary Williams hates his shot selection. He has good vision and his shot is streaky at best. He gets lucky alot too. Like a great example would be him shooting 2 threes in the first 2 mins of the game ON FASTBREAKS! neither went. and if Duke didnt start of like they did, Gary would have been livid.

He's a good player. but not a great player. If a coach in the NBA can get past his "flash is more important" mentality, he'll be good in the NBA. he has size a vision, but his decision making needs work.

i think they can as long as we keep getting good play from Milbourne, Hayes, Williams, and Mosley. And Adrian Bowie has been a big help of late too. I think we can go pretty deep in the NCAA depending on who we pull
