Man i love this video lesson. I got fills 1 and 2 down. A lil shaky on fill 3 but i am working on getting the other things you did. Man you where Jammin on this!
This version of Brown Sugar is one of my fav tracks from this dope bootleg (with Devil's Pie, Lady, Shit,Damn,Motherfucker, Left&Right...)
Do you know that the main verse riff comes from Minnie Riperton's Baby, this love I have which had been sampled by A Tribe Called Quest on Check the rhime?
@hestan...and don't forget to check Minnie's Riperton's Adventures in Paradise from 1975 which also features her hit Inside my love...This album is a true gem
hey soundation, yeah - been to see the Jeremy Stacey band a few times at the 606 club in London with Pino and Jason Rebello. I'd have been a baby in 1984! - was it a good gig? Fretless?
@soundation Yea, it was fretless. I was working as a stage hand at the time and loved that sound of his. I asked the little sound engineer what effect Pino was using and he replied " I don't know all I tell him is I don't like it!".
Nice job sir !
