Just woke from a dream in which i embraced Fish! Had a chat about his music and how touched i was by the Gentlemans Excuse me.Love to you Fish man! you are a gentle giant and a beautiful soul.Bless you bro!!!
He's simply amazing - so charismatic and he puts the special message in his artwork. And I love his green tartan trousers. :) He rocks the world during his gigs... :)
Fish has never been about the technical points....He's always been about the meaning in his songs, the emotion he puts in, and the messages involved.....thats what makes him so great!
what a sold out wanker 'Pragjag' is for the comment.. not a true marillion /Fish fan.... show some respect to fish man! were all getting on , getting older by the day , his music/lyrics still does it for me and i probably speak for millions too. if you listen to the crowd at the end of this clip Pragjag thats called respect & love of the tunez mate respect & thanks to fish / marillion your music/lyrics still grab me by the heart , some even too hard too sing along too ,

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. How did a man with such charisma in the early 80s became this embarrassing wreck. I wish I had never seen this, and been left with my memories of the many Fish era Marillion gigs I saw.
You are hollow piece of dung. With a comment like that I doubt you even get His music or Marillions music. Have you seen Steve Rothery lately? I am sure he gives a rats ass what you think about his looks. If you want to see pretty boys go watch MTV (you probably are watching right now). Do us all a favor dont waste a ticket att either shows. Save it for someone worthy - unlike yourself. Peace
Every opinion must be respected, if it shows respect. Calling Fish ''Embarassing wreck'' it's simply insulting. He still makes great music and lyrics, and time is flowing for everyone, even for you. Take care, stay alive
I liked Fish until he did the cover album, since then his stuff is not my taste anymore, so you can change what you like, I think his albums now are crap
-Script for a listeners tear is because of the forgotten son ,who stands in rain like sugarmice and thinks this world to be totally fugazi,as his misplaced childhood reminds him to go to the Marketsquare where the heros wait and join them to a garden party on a chelsea monday just to show a gentlemans exuse ,and to say -he knows, you know.
I know Marillion since 1984, and it's the only band I have never "left" since. I believe that even as a grandmother I will still be listening to this amazing music. Was very, very sad when I heard that Fish left the band. But Fish himself is still great, and I was tooooo happy to see him last year in Berne! He has a very special appearance, and his music - not only the old one, but also the "single Fish music" touches my heart like no other music can.
I used to be a big Fish fan. He sings from the back of his throat to try and sound like Peter Gabriel....hes not a natural singer. Im sorry this has offended you but its true. Hes a fantastic showman, but a very poor singer who is forever out of tune.
you may be right but you know very little about emotion and passion in music. you will always forever be hung up on the technical crap. You were never a Fish fan so dont kid yourself. go listen to some Norah Jones... I am sure she is the "natural singer" you speak of.
"true fish fans dont waver" LOL People are allowed to change their tastes and move on you know. I just didnt want to listen to anymore negative pessimistc lyrics. I wanted to listen to music with a more positive and less self-pitying dramas to them.
I know a lot about emotion thats why i said he was a good showman. He puts a lot of emotion into what he does. And always have done. All Im saying is that he is a poor singer which he is.
Get the hell out of here. Music is EVERYTHING,EVERYWHERE, and EVERYONE - From screamers like Bruce Springsteen, and Rod Stewart to Bon Scott, and Brian Johnson to singers like Bono, George Michael, John Lennon, Pand Paul Mccartney. Music is more than singing - it`s the total package - EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!
He is still my number one beloved jester. this is a great recording it makes me nostalgic again and reminds me how sad I was that I missed his concert last month in Brussels.
Fish is number 1

what is the name of this song?

The song is called "Fugazi", off the Marillion album "Fugazi", this is the last 2 minutes of it stretched out for a live performance.
You can also hear it on "La Gazza Ladra, The Thieving Magpie" LIVE.
Its a really great song, i can't more than highly reccomend the album.

Fish was 48 in April.
When was this recording done. It's not the Return to Childhood Tour that has just finished, as Robin is playing and not Andy.
