  • The sound is so poor. The first one I listened to was Gary P. singing this song with JJ Walker. (YouTube vid)

Check out BRod313's vids of JJW, and GPNunn. The audio is perfect. I was hoping to actually see and hear this ... but it's almost impossible.

In JJW's show, Nunn can be heard like he's sittin' on your lap. He's a GREAT singer.

  • I don't know who the bass player is but the lead guitar player is Gary P's son.

  • great video, i am a native Texan, spent the first glorious 30 years of my life there, now have been in Minnesota for 20 years...but, Texas will always be home...just home i can make it back there again for good....

  • oh wow

  • sher wish the audio was clearer...

Wanna go home to the armadillo...

  • Boots, chaps, spurs, 2 Colt 45's, a 30-30, a stetson, 500,000 acres in West Texas and JJW, thanks for the up, making me homesick to get out of the concrete jungle. Who's got Women In Texas to up.

  • Gary P Nunn is awesome. Could someone tell me where I can find the rock version of this song? Thanks

  • Never heard a rock version, this is the only guy I've ever heard do it, even on Jerry Jeff Walker's album in 1975 or so.
