  • dude, you should play barbarian invasion!!!! it has the Byzantine Empire (they call it eastern roman empire)

  • I don't even know how I got this video. still, glad I got to it. amazing video!!!

  • the reason why they don"t talk about the Byzantines is because they don't want to see a Cristian empire that started the first college and hospital> The schools are controlled by Atheist now. For the most part anyways.

  • Nice!

  • su u mean sun tzu?

    it ponounced sun tuzu....i think

  • @piochi2 It really is a matter of preference I think. You know Japan doesn't even refer to themselves as Japan? Fun fact of the day. :P

  • Belisarius is a tragic figure in Byzantine history. A noble man who was forced to work for an emperor who didn't deserve to have such a great servant.

  • @stuka80 that is not true... Justinian did helped Belisarius, as much as he could... the Byzantine empire was very very very unstable... Justinian had very few rescourses...

  • @FaakedLillebror Overall Justinian's part in Belisarius's effort in reconquering the lost provinces were pathetic. He could never trust his general with an adequately strong army to actually finish the job in Italy especially for fear of creating a rival. When Narses took over command in Italy after Belisarius, he always had a much larger army than Belisarius ever commanded. Shows you right there how Justinian was undermining Belisarius throughout his career

  • @stuka80 In the time where Belisarius were conquering Italy, Constantinople was a mess, constant riots and civil disobidience. So assemblying an army at that time was. merely inpausible.

And Justinian was not paranoid over his generals, infact Belisarius and Justinian was good friends...

I just want to make a point that. maniging a large empire thats unstable and conquer new territory issnt for the faint hearted, and frankly Justinian were kinda weak.

(sorry about my writing, im danish)
