Um excuse me when did I brag about being a good dancer, or performing with all the kirov dancers? And have you heard of a thing called copyright, not allowing to post some of those videos, yeah probably not but that's ok you'll learn eventually how to interpret comments and what copyright is, maybe then you can go and actually watch so amazing kirov dancers on youtube. k?

Actually, you practice performance in rehearsal. Class is class. Its where you fall. Its where you figure out if ur where you need to b in ur body. You dont go from class to performance unless ur doing company class at the theatre, on stage, then its a different kind of energy.

It's Yevgenia (Evgenia) Obraztsova. She is 24 I think and she is just that short. But she's still amazing :). Watch her Satanella pas de deux, also know as Carnival of Venice - she's sooo wonderful... :)

oh man, the kirov is offering free classes in Los Angeles next week and I was going to take a class, but I think I've changed my mind! Because I'm 23 probably be put in the "adult/professional" level. AHH!! Maybe I can sneak into the teen class, lol. I'm short (5'1), it might work!

yeah... the adult classes are sometimes easy for new learning adults... also, this is company class in russia.

and i hope u know which kirov it is... because the "kirov" in russia is actually mariinsky... they changed it a while ago... the kirov is actually a school in d.c. that is slightly associated wit the russian company.

It's ok. In the end I DID chicken out, lol. I'm taking and teaching more ballet classes now than I was then, so if the opportunity ever arises again I think I'd go for it!

@Phyre702 Maybe they're just that good when they're NOT giving a production and they are just working hard to warm up, something that you're probably not used to doing and maybe you should just accept that you'll never be half as good as these dancers are now, even when they're doing a fraction of what they're capable of in a morning ballet class...
