@JohnnyStorm2007 Do you mean the one timer slapshot, or one timer wristshot? If you meant slapshot, then please tell me how you did it. I mean everytime I try a one timer slapshot, my guys never shoot on contact with the puck, they always pause for a second and then shoot lol. I found that the one timer wristshot works a lot better though.

This is by far the best 16-Bit hockey I've ever played....Visually it reminds me the NHL Powerplay 95/96 on the Sega Saturn but on a more low res count...Video doesn't do justice how great this game is..It's up there with the Sega Mega Drive's NHL Hockey,NHL 95 or NHL All Star Hockey 95....Best Super Nes hockey game out there and the only one you'll ever need for this platform.....

This is probably the best NHL game I ever played. The most unrealistic and hilarious game to play with a bud. Especially the part where you Body check to go faster :D

Ive played almost every hockey game for Sega and SNES and this is by far the worst.... very hard to score

Very easy to score. I was throwing the puck in the air just after passing the second blue line and it was going in the net 2 out of 3 try

I cant believe how much time i wasted with this game. Lets be honest, it was brutal. NES Ice Hockey is much more playable than this. The only marks it gets is for its creativeness. NCAA basketball used the same technology and was much more playable as well.

This game has a glitch... if you get right near the blue line and dump the puck at the goalie right as you get to the blue line, you can score almost every time

@bodhisattva99 Yeah. It was the funniest thing ever. This is actually a really good game for the time it came out though, especially if you wanted something more graphically involving than NHL 93/94.

I have this game. I went 30 - 0. Back then, the goalies were dumb idiots. LOL. Look at today's NHL 2K11, NHL 11, smart goalies. Look at how much has been improved.

Just hearing the theme gets me emotional! It looks awful today, but was totally incredible back then. It became too easy to score, as i got better, including this one 'glitch/money goal' where you skate to center ice and do a flip shot. It went in almost all the time when you needed a goal.

you also couldn't fight and it only had the players numbers and not their names

@njdevils17 umm... first of all I can score 40 goals on a 5 min per. games, second it's made in fucking 1993 It'll have it's limitation.

also, other video games out at the time (and even some older ones) had player names and fighting and controls that didn't suck.

face it, this was a brutal game.

No, You deke going left to right. And Slap Shots. last time I checked that Worked in the NHL. And hey look at NHL-10 I mean i can score all day with a cerain deke.

Plus tell me an NHL game made in 1993 That had Fighting, Player's Names AND numbers, AND Controls that didn't suck.

i wish i could still play this game. i'd have to go on a National Treasure adventure to find it again. i currently play the EA series of nhl games. just hearing the theme music from this game again has made me smile. :D

remember the cheap goal? Just do a flick shot dump in thingy from the center face off dot and it would almost always go just above the goalies head and land in the net :) Good times! :P

Its made in mode 7 graphics...which means pseudo 3D. All that that being said this was one of my favorite games and really made me the hockey freak I am today.
