  • So powerful.

  • Each time I hear the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sing this piece of music I feel that God is close by.. What glorious voices to be sure.

  • Beautiful angels singing:) when Jesus comes I want to sing for him like this!

  • @moltoallegro19 Thank you very much for pointing that out! I was unaware of that. I'm sorry for all offense my ignorance may have caused.

  • For god's sake, at least spell his name right!

  • @asanokuuki George Frideric Handel is the spelling he himself used when he lived in England. If people using the English spelling of his name bothers you you should check out what's Mozart's "real" name and how many times he changed it.

  • maravilhoso,divino.não tem igual!

maravilhoso , divino ,não tem igual

  • This song took me back to the 70's. Lovely!

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!!

  • Superb!!

  • beautiful, wonderful, awesome

  • Although Handel had composed his ' Messiah ' in Londron, the first hearing of the work was in Dublin on April 13, 1742.

I consider The Mormon Tabernacle Choir among the best in the world.

  • Wow this is good. And that's a lot of Mormons >.< lol

  • I'm 14 & I sang this at Messiah. Its not hard at all.

  • With a group that large, you have to overemphasize the "stacato" Otherwise it would drag. They are so much better than they used to be. Craig Jessup and Mack Wilberg have done a magnificent job. Also, it helps to have the younger voices that they have now.

  • Uplifting and gives me holy goose bumps ! A truly devotional worshipful praise and testimony of the Lord's Glory, Righteousness, Purity and Grace !

  • Isaiah 40:5 (KJV)

And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

  • superb

  • Jewish & living in a country that is 98% Buddhist I've come to see the work of the Almighty in the little blessings of each day. A laugh, a tear, the sunrise & sunset & waves on a beach. The flowers, the trees & the ladies in the market. These are the true blessings of our lives. So put aside your petty prejudices and feel the music with your heart. There's no greater tribute to mans relationship with G-d or G-d's relationship with man than Handel's Messiah, & this Choir does it best.

  • i wish i were there singing with them !!! excellent !

  • BRAVO !!

  • marvellous

  • very good!

  • Really nice - but why so much staccato?

  • @SuperAgaden

it kinda needs to be cause of the vast room size and the large choir so it'll sound together in every spot in the room...although I agree it is a bit over the top^^

  • @Captain93Morgan I see, that makes sense. :-)

  • @SuperAgaden I sang with a large church choir and we were directed to sing it this way so the audience could understand the words. Diction is important in a piece paced this fast.

  • I was converted to the Latter-day Saint or Church of Jesus Christ by this choir and music 1950

    Trondheim Norway age 15

  • Aprender a cantar Haendel sem partitura deve ter levado pelo menos um ano de ensaio sem parar, não sou mórmon, mas eles estão de parabéns ! Perfeitos !

  • Enormous choir:O stunning:')

  • Muito lindo! realmente maravilhoso

  • Que perfeição!...lindo!...maravilhoso! Parabéns a todos.

  • It´s very difficult to learn and sing it, they are perfect;.

A great contribution to Christian music, with the lyrics taken directly from the Christian Bible.
