  • Dam you yanks ar so far ahead as far ahead of us Brits when it comes to lures! But carp? Your like cavemen :-)

  • won't the bobber stop tangle the wire when theowing?

  • Bass and sunfish do not eat aquatic plants they shelter in them and the things needed to sustain life are food, water, and shelter and that goes for fish and also it's not very polite to swear at a 14 year old

  • Nice video and great fish. Recently went to France for a week at Etang De Villaine. Was there for 5 nights and caght 24 fish and they were all over 20lb, eleven of them were over 30lb. Its a private 6 acre lake full night fishing and run by british carp angler stu and jan.. check it out w w w carpfishinginfrancesite . com

  • the tip is not completed..

  • Fucking hell..... what's this shit video???

  • i always caught them on the first rig.

  • ummm.... i don't get it

  • very clever!

  • hahaha carp fishing??

hillbillies would stain their overalls if they ever saw a marlin... I think I can here a bango in the background

  • @mattjt1988

I can not hear a BANGO in the background

  • @mattjt1988 wtf is a bango

    you mean banjo?

    fucking city boys

  • @mattjt1988 I'm off to restring my bango, Fucking Red neck!!

  • What"s the bead for?

  • carp are fun to catch but you should kill them when you do if you live in the usa

  • @bitofhell why?

  • @saltyCracka3 because they are an invasive fish and r killing off all of the native gamefish like sunfish, and bass by eating all of the aquatic plants

  • @meckorocks Are you serious... Fuck you! you dont know what your talking about! find me one bass or sunfish that eats aquatic plants... Then when you realize your a wrong ass bitch, go tell someone who gives a fuck... you can eat shit and fucking die!

  • @zachthefisherman Incorrect. Sunfish eat algae.

  • @FishingwithKT what kind of sunfish eats algae?

  • @zachthefisherman Bluegill.

  • @bitofhell why should u kill them they the queens property here in th uk

  • @bitofhell

You dumb-ass, the harmful carp are Asian carp, which are filter feeders and cannot be caught on a rod and reel. Common carp that you catch are harmless and are not the ones that are pushing out other sport-fish.

  • where do carp go after they are done spawning

  • bobbers are for little kids or snatches

  • damn...i don't even wanna know why every comment is so disrespectful. haha

  • @RazorCable Go fuck urself

Anyone that watches this video would prefer to watch you die than a carp

  • @RazorCable are u retarded?

  • umm, what? lol

  • U don't need a fancy rig.. I caught a 27 lb common on a bait I made on a treble hook tied to 10 lb test line with no weight.

  • @Denny1st

wtf you usin a treble hook for

  • goodstuff..

  • ok arnold,,,lol

  • he have very good Rod

  • IF you sub my channel and you will retrieve a sub and comment

  • YouTube, Rod holder lets you know when to set the hook on a fish. Fishcatcherrodholder.

  • Carp fishing is fun, here in california, our carp get massive. You wouldnt expect to pull up a 30 pounder from a tiny little pond. The real fun is trying different baits. Grapes work pretty well.

  • crud as fuck mate get ta grips with fish welfare

  • best carp rig.... bobber and a hook with bread wrapped around in a way so that the barb side of the hook is exposed...

  • I caught my first carp about 4 days ago... The thing that sucked was that it got hooked up 10 minutes before i noticed it and started reeling.... it was about 13lb and faught like a log... fawkin dissappoitment! (i was adventuring around the pond for bass)

  • carp play two ways, they play dead or fight like a fucking bitch, sadly i only got the fucking bitch side, and all three times it snapped my line.

  • @randomclam8ownz

If your line snaps you need to consider various factors such as..

    condition of line

    knots

    clutch/drag on reel

is the rod too stiff for the line?

If you use decent line and balance your tackle you should be fine mate

  • I fish for carp all the time using this rig a 6 foot berkely rod and 4 - 6 lb test on a couple of gander mtn tournament rods and it is the most fun ive had yet

  • I have never understood why anyone would purposefully try to catch carp... Boring as shit if you ask me. I get them on accident, irritating.

  • Have you lost your mind?

    What fish do you prefer?

  • One I can eat... and it taste good.

  • Yeah, but that's not what angling's about is it? just to catch a fish to eat it?

I put all my fish back in the water :D

  • 100% agree...

is the moment your heart skips a beat, and your clutch, and line go flying down the lake..

carp are fun, its playing them at there own game, someone has to get tiered out 1st, and normally the carp...lol

  • @ilikerossi ok see i do not agree with always catch and release fishing because you can catch some nice fish and eat them to. its not like you are having the fish go to waste. it is just like a predator fish eating that fish you caught it is the same thing. but if you are just catching fish to to mount them on your wall then tht is just wrong. tht isnt fair to the fish at all

  • well i do both i just like the feelling of a big fish and i also love eating cudas and bass

  • Carp, eel, trout, and largemouth bass are the best tasting fish here in NJ... you just need to know how to cook it. The first fish i actually enjoyed eating was carp, ever since then i've been hooked on fish/seafood.

  • better no come ta the uk we carp anglers well eat yos yanks sick as fuck

  • Odd person...!

  • mate this is so shit. u dont want that type of rig, but then again it is different in america. we use completly different rods to you lot and rigs.

  • ow, that hurt

  • running ledger rig, aka slip sinker.

  • I tryed this rig today, it's very good, even thought I did not caught any fish, but I could see that any touch in the line and the float stands up, it's really sensible and the line don't need to be tightened to the float stand up.

  • Shaun, thanks for putting on a great show. I live in Port Credit and have never tried carp fishing. I am looking forward to trying out the techniques you have demonstrated and hooking into some of those monster carp.

Cheers and keep up the good work

  • haha lamo you dont no what your talking about! you want a 410rcet rod with a ledger that will catch wotever u want :)

  • uk rigs are so complex, although the concept of the sinker letting the line free could be very handy for river fishing.

  • the second one's a pike rig

  • these rigs are a fucking joke lol

  • like you bitch

  • boring

  • daremne

nie widac gdzie jest splawik na wodzie

  • fagva2, key to successful carping is an open mind.... 0_o

  • O LOL i have the same rod!!! i bought at canadian tire worth like $10 lmao xD i caught a 20lb large mouth bass and it was delicious lol XD

  • 20 lb? or 2 lb?

  • uhh 2 lb xD

  • dont use this rig its bullshit, screw complicated bell sinkers and beads and swivels, just go with 2 heavy splitshots 1 1/2 feet above the hook and two pieces of corn, works the best for me and i can easily catch many carp

  • I need some help if anyones kind enough to educate me. I want to pin my line down ok, however i will not use my leadcore ive bought as i dont know how and thats unsafe fishing. I love my fish. Secondly backleads?. naf up ya bite indication or at best ruin it a little?. so am i correct in thinking that using a running ledger, cast out and let the line slack for like 5 minutes after the lead hits then surely the line will be on bottom. Reel in until i feel first bit line lifting?. and thats best?.

  • usebwhats called a flying backled, and good fishing shop will have them, and they eont break the bank either, about a pound each, hope that helps...

  • Thanks mate, ive tested a few things now and i like the leadcore leaders now ive learnt how to use them safely with a heli rig... I have yet to try flying backleads but hear these are good but can sometimes jepodise bite sensitivity, slack lines seems to be ok to. Anyway im enjoying trying new stuff and as long as its safe to the fish im happy. Thanks for your time taken to message me. Its appreciated.

  • ill try that

  • holy shitXD

    korda ownz that stuf lolled:P

  • mabie old school but it works.

  • ahahaaahaaaahaaa old scool

  • cool dude great tip will try it when i go fishing

  • cool :)

  • Very good job!!! Easy rigs to make and all the tackle used into making the rigs can be found almost anywhere that sells fishing tackle. Keep up the good work!!!!

  • first commment since he spelled "comment" wrong! muahahaha!!!!
