Fortunately for me, I recently discovered the new Doctor Who series (I live in the USA). Unfortunately.... David was instantly my favorite doctor, and to learn he has already come and gone!! I have a hard time watching it with Matt, his acting skills are no where near as refined (imo), but I suppose he can get better with time.

Thanks for this BBC. I still have mine saved on my digibox from Christmas 2009. I thought it was fab. I can't wait for the Dr Who movie (apparently David's interested in playing The Doctor if the script is right. So if this is true we'd have Matt Smith playing the TV version and DT playing the film version - which'd be fab, and fans can rejoice, instead of mourn the loss of their fave Doctor.

The second season was *filmed* in 2005, and so it pretty much counts from the end of s1, then the Children In Need missing scene (considered s1ep14), then the first Christmas special "Invasion" is s2ep00 where "New Earth" is s2ep01 and so on ;D lol if he finished filming End of Time this past summer, then it was four straight years for him working as Ten, wow.. And he will definitely be missed! XD
