How come when you collect the balls they don't make the musical note noises like they did for me?

Sometimes they would be arranged in order so that you would hear a song when collecting them (for example Mary had a Little Lamb).

@JinKnight I actually found Rayman 1 much harder than Rayman 2. Rayman 2 was balanced, whereas in 1 there was a lot more hardcore, slightly frustrating platforming.

@PluMGMK @NFFCRhys Or you can look at GOG (Good Old Games) at gog (dot) com. They optimize old games to work on newer, Vista/7 PC's.

They have Rayman Forever, which includes the original Rayman + Rayman Gold (extra levels + level editor) + Rayman by his fans (even more extra levels), but it lacks most of the original soundtrack. (the forest theme is lacking, so the cave theme is used instead. :( )

@Sweetstyleh SOPA is indeed the Stop Online Piracy Act. It is a law that the American government were going to pass to try to stop illegal downloading of copyrighted materials. However, it would have essentially allowed media companies like CBS and Viacom to control the internet and basically take down any website they wanted. This is why there was public outcry, causing the law to be shelved indefinitely.

@Sweetstyleh For many years, Ubisoft put Rayman in several demeaning roles in Rabbids games. This made me, and many other Rayman fans, extremely angry.

Now that they finally made a new Rayman game, they refused to release it on PC, even though they released it on the Wii, which is inferior to most gamers' PCs. This also made me angry, because I don't have any consoles and am not going to get one just to play one game.

Now, Rayman Origins is coming to PC, so I don't have to be angry any more. :)

20 years playing Rayman and I found this lives 1 months ago XD. It's because I wanted to rebuild allegro presto on Rayman Designer with all exact tiles, and I made the jump to get it from the flute you stay on min 1:51
