Her height has been listed publicly as anywhere from 5'1" to 5'3". During her interview on the Martin Short Show (one of my other interviews), she says she is 5'2" and this seems to be her most commonly reported height. However, as someone who has stood next to her, I'm thinking 5' to 5'1" though it's hard to know because she is ALWAYS in about 3 to 4 inch heels.
Thanks--love this. Tom is smooth on the dance floor isn't he?! Bet he would be a good singer too if he wanted. He's just good at anything he does. Bernadette has always been one of my favorites too--great singer.
This made me wonder if this happens radomly at her house like chorus members jump up from behind her sofa and a piano man comes out the walls and she grabs a mic and starts singing wat she wants for dinner lol that b so cool.
Actually - that was inches away from happening. Bernadette starred in a TV show pilot as a leading role but unfortunately the plot wasn't considered good enough to be an entire show so it wasn't aired. I think after that she's like 'Yeah. . .I'm just going to stick to Guest Starring for now'
I remember hearing about that. I think the show was called "Adopted" or something like that. It was supposed to be about a young man and his adoptive mother and his birth mother. Christine Baranski, another great Broadway actress, was supposed to play opposite Bernadette, but the show didn't even make it to the air.....unfortunately! I met Bernadette 4 times last year....and she is such an amazing person! Very down-to-earth, and one of the kindest people on the planet.
It's amazing to think that she's over 60 years old.

I do love that she can basically walk underneath his extended arm and she is in heels. Of course Tom Selleck if very tall - 6'4" I think.

This was worth it from when they began dancing (without ensemble) and on.
And, I have to say, bringing the rehearsal to the office is just about the same as standing the guy up XD
