You are a fucking retard. This is MONSTER HUNTER 2, not MONSTER HUNTER FREEDOM 2. The console Monster Hunter games were significantly harder than the PSP ones and Monster Hunter 2 was considered uncommonly hard even in Japan.

Hurr, anyone can take the G-rank monsters out quickly using a g-ranked weapon. Good luck doing it with Deathprize, one of the weakest SNS in the game. Fucking retards like you ruin the community of MH, who don't even know the history of the game. Go die. Long swords suck.

Katana is a very bad choice to fight the crab especially when you're just starting out. I'd definitely switch to Sword and Shield.

It's not a living monoblos head, it's a hermit crab which has adopted a deceased monoblos head as it's shell it can use some of it's attacks. I think it's a nice addittion personally.
