how long have you been learning german? 1 year. ?your pronunciation is pretty good. The only you have to work on is speaking it more fluent .but your english will greatly improve if you go to germany and speak with natives .( Foreign exchange student program)that's the best way to become fluent. I'm german and i'm currently in the usa and i can tell you from my experience that the best way to become fluent is to go to the place where it is spoken the most .
See, in Geramn subclauses like "..., because I am happy." you put the verb at the end, whcih would be "..., because I happy am" in English and "..., weil ich glücklich bin." in German.
The wordorder thing is only an example, but try a little learning by communicating. I'm sure that'll help you go on the path you're already on.

Ja, manchmal habe ich Schwierigkeit mit Grammatik. Es gibt viele wichtige Regeln, die man verwenden muß, um richtig zu sprechen und ich versuche immer, neues etwas zu sagen.
Generell spricht man sich in Deutschland mit Sie an. Ein "Du" wird in der Regel angeboten, wenn man sich besser kennt. Dann auch meistens vom älteren zum jüngeren.
Wenn man gemeinsam seine Freizeit verbringt oder gemeinsame Interessen auslebt (Sport, Online Communitys etc.), ist man in den meisten Fällen sofort per "Du".

Hahah, yea. I never thought of it that way, but that's probably true, that French might be difficult for Germans to learn because the vocal patterns and inflexions are so different. My main concern is I hope people will understand me without wincing in pain from my butchering of the language,lol. :P
