he left and went to Costa Rica where she is, and he came riding in like a white night, and they lived "Happily Ever After"... I have ALWAYS wanted Grissom with Sara, and although I was truly saddened to see my two FAV characters from CSI go, and I love them all, couldn't have been a better way to send my Grissom off, to the Love of His life... "to be loved like THAT"...

Storyline wise. It's just more realistic for GRISSOM TO COME BACK.. not SARA. She can not handle to be a CSI. she's great, but she's gonna go crazy. lol. And besides, her character left pretty burnt out. so to have her come back to LV crime lab is a stretch to have jorja fox back on the show. But it's just a little unrealistic you know.

And i am sure that William Petersen stated that he is going to be willing to reprise his role if need be. He just wants a breather out of CSI.

sara left cos of that whole thing with the minuture killer and being abtucted and she just felt burnt out i guess and didnt want to self destruct infront of gris and grissom didnt die he leaves csi to find sara he finds her in costa rica they kiss happy endings all around except the CSI audience that is lol.

honetly, i'm not a Sara Fan, she's on the very bottom of my list. Doesn't mean I don't like her on the show. But when they made her leave, it was so sad and her character was so broken... :( andi just don't see her character ever coming to that place again.
