Im not rly liking any of the pairings in the show so far. I really dont care about Adam/Cassie or Nick/Melissa. Its kinda putting me off the show since so far the story isnt exactly great.
@BoxingKangar00: I think The Secret Circle will be a bit like TVD in the sence that it starts out slow and will get bigger and bigger after some episodes.
I'm liking it so far :)
I would say: Give it at least 5 episodes to convince you, not that you should listen to a stranger, lol

the secret circle is alot like charmed. Both shows are witches, have magical powers, they were stripped of their magic when they were young for protection, THEY BOTH HAVE A BOOK OF SHADOWS!!! THUMBS UP IF YOU AGREE!
@TVDfanforeverx book of shadows is a term out of the wicca belief system, witches OF course have magical powers, otherwise they wouldn't be witches, and the young ones were not stripped of their power? CHARMED = NO. WITCH & WICCA MYTHOLOGY = YES. look it up gosh

I was thinking it reminded me of The Craft when I saw the first preview for the show. Wicca=nonfictional religion, The Secret Circle=fictional series about witches with actual powers.
True but the book of TSC was out before charmed was even on the minds of the writers/network and so lets keep the comparisons to a minimum, we already have charmed and the craft fanatics who seemingly can't just enjoy another witch show without accusing TSC of copying (even when the book was out before charmed and the craft was even thought out)
@TVDfanforeverx Er, a lot of witches have magical powers, being bound when young is actually pretty common in witch lore, and Books of Shadows exist around the world. Besides, not the show's fault, closer to the author's fault since it's based on a book series.
