You're welcome to have whatever opinion you want to have on Bob Barr, but just making up your own facts isn't a good idea. Bob Barr left Congress at the end of 2002. Federal spending was a little under $2 trillion that year. Last year federal spending passed $3 trillion, and given the size of McBama backed bailout it could hit $4 trillion this year.
I guess you're showing us Republocrat math. No wonder we have a $9.6 trillion national debt.

I think things would definitely be different if Gore were elected, but that's just because Bush turned out to be grossly incompetent, not because of any difference between the two parties.

I do not think you get it BOTH parties are corporate owned sellouts and the office of President and such has become nothing more than puppets for Lobbyists and special interests. Obama is no man for change and McCain is no maverick reformer. Obama's wife is a bundler for lobbyists and McCain has more ties to lobbyists than anyone could imagine.

In November there will be several slots on the ballot where the appropriate choice would be 'none' or 'other'. I'll use those slots to write in CFL (Campaign for Liberty). Sure they won't count for anything but if lots of people did it the message would be heard by the Republicrat insiders.

I'm not sure why they were singing in front of a broken-down country shack. Bush, Clinton, McCain, and Obama are all multi-millionaires. The money they don't make directly at our expense via generous six-figure salaries provided to the president and members of Congress, they make indirectly via political connections gained as a result of holding power. McCain not being able to recall how many houses he owns would be funny if it weren't coming at the expense of millions of people trying to get by

No point in voting 3rd party if we don't all pool our votes together. I mean, imagine if every person voting for a third party all voted for the SAME PERSON! We would make a major dent in the system. I bet we'd get over 30%, which is all we would need!

No. This just misses the point. It buys back into the system the cartoon opposes. The real message is, "Vote for your principles, whatever they are."
How will your principles ever win if you never vote for them? If you keep holding your nose and voting for someone you do not agree with for no other reason than to block the 'other guy' who seems so much worse, you will never see what you believe in succeed. It cannot, because you are not really supporting that which you profess to believe.
