@KittenKaku Sure; Felicity chooses Ben over Noel.They end up going to medical school togethr in her home town of Palo Alto. Ben ends up marrying a co-worker. And Felicity's best friend, I can't remember her name now, (the super smart black girl) dies, in a car accident i think. It was a very bittersweet ending.

Love this song although I agree the concepts are scary.

We are always ''looking up or looking down'', hoping for something and so we are miserable in the sense that we never truly live in the present.

And then of course there is our desire to live our lives to the fullest and the pursuit of happiness and whatnot.

I think this song is full of unattainable concepts which sadly mean the most to us. Maybe we're lost without them, always living in the future or reminiscing, hence the 'displaced'?

This song makes me wish that I was younger. The lyrics "nothing survives" hinders it though. Nothing is young forever (and all that). This song speaks so much truth.
