yes sure, very impressive. Very nice waltz and played very strong. I admire yoyr abilities and we both know what it costs to ply like this. Thanks for posting. Put it in my favorites.
I imported Maurice Larcanges' recording into an audio recording program (Audacity), which allowed me to slow the piece down to half speed / one octave lower so that I could hear the intricacies of the melody. The Bass clef was fairly straight forward. I am fortunate enough to be able to play by ear, so I listened very carefully to four bars at a time until I was certain that knew it, then wrote it down. If you would like more detals, please send me your e-mail address.
Very interesting to know you wrote it out by yourself. I got a lot of scores but I cannot put in the bass because most of them are piano scores. Can you tell me how to put in chords on the left hand side. Is it simply by putting on C, G most easily matching to the treble side. If you don't mind give me a reply to my box so that you can explain more, thanks.
even more than the piano, the counterpoint is so remarkable...
it's as if when one is a virtuoso, as hear, the mind is turned off to the left hand, the body is turned on to the rythym, and the right had is singing...
Thanks for you comments. I was struggling to find any information about this piece. I googled the title, and the search came up with Domi (Dominique) Emorine. As there was no confilcting information, I took this to be correct. Domi Emorine has been winning accordion championships in Europe since she was in her early teens (she is now in her 30s). There are some YOUTUBE videos of her, but not of her playing this waltz.
Does this information concur with what you just found out?
Very tricky tune. Well done
