Our world needs more people like you and less of the ones like some of the assholes who have posted here. Keep doing what you do, and don't let anyone listen to nay-sayers. I have ONE person that genuinely cares about me and she lives 1000 miles away. If i'd listened to the jerks that have put me down and beat me all my life, i'd have killed myself long ago. Often, it's the people that envy you that give you the hardest time. Again, keep it up.

WOW this is probal\bley one of the FUNNIEST things i havve ever seen. Your trying to be serious and make yourself cry at the end really nice, and Bitch your really fucking ugly i think you should kill yourself so you can be weith your heath sucks his small weenier and remember hinm for broke backmountain bitch
i loved heath ledger so much i cryed after about a year that i found out that he had died and when i found out that he had died was on my birthday the 22 of january is when he died i cryed for hours and now every time i watch one of his vids i cry
I can't remember ever hearing anything about Heath Ledger before his death. I found the media circus around his passing annoying, and even after reading a huge newspaper article about it, I didn't get what the big deal was.
Now, after seeing this video, I suddenly... care. I never thought someone I don't know, talking about the death of someone I don't know, could do that.
This is probably the most sincere celebrity tribute i've ever heard.
i feel bad because we do take people in and then wen they die we all feel bad some more than other its just hard to get over it sometimes but we all are here for ya

i am very picky on my favorite actors, because there are so many that give occasional good performances. but heath is on i knew would always be great no matter what. i was on my way home from seeing cloverfield thinking about how clever it was to be from the camcorder prespective. but all that was lost when i heard about heath. dark knight is about to come out but i dont know if i can see it yet. i would have to accept that he is gone and that i dont think i can do that yet. great/sad vid
This is very touching dear. It got to me too, I don't think I could speak for a good twenty minutes when I saw the news that day. Every time I pass by posters for the new Batman movie, I catch myself. I mean...I'm looking into the eyes of a dead man that left us far too early. Nice sentiment, hun.
That was a very articulate tribute and thank you for having the courage to post the video. Many of us feel the same as you in that we respected him and his versatality was surmountable. Thank you!

ppl die all the time, so what he was an actor and had talent blah blah blah. you want to give tribute to dead ppl give one to those that deserve it. I can understand how you would be upset if it were someone you knew and cared for but just because someone is in the public eye is no reason for you to get all teary eyed. FACT.
i loved heath, he was such a great actor. i really liked him in the patriot and alsooo 10 things i hate about you. i didnt even know that he had drug problems or anything i thought he was one of those sober guys! =( RIP! (btw great tribute. =D)
Wow, yeah, I'm 28 - Same age as Heath. Have to say he was a good actor - might have even been great - now we'll never know. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and close friends of Heath - Emily, touched by your tribute, I could understand if you didn't dance that day.
Emily, hi there, I don't comment in videos, I just don't. I just got an account with Youtube today. But I had to say that I can see you are upset and a little shaken by this, I bet even more so because of the cause of death. He was a good actory, I was looking forward to watching him mature into a great actory and see where his craft took him.
I don't think I knew the name Heath Ledger until he died. I don't see many movies.
But a death at that age is not only tragic -- it always raises the cry of scandal. In this day and age, when someone dies in their 20s, it's assumed to be their own fault: illegal drugs, reckless or intoxicated driving, sexually transmitted disease, or suicide. Even if it was none of those things.
And this presumption usually dominates the news and overshadows what the person accomplished in life.
Such a sweet,heart-felt commmentary.Ironically,he was never in the limelight of the scuzz-rags of show-biz,just did interesting work and seems to have kept his private life away from the goons of the media, mostly.I'm sick of hearing about his death-the press never cared or appreciated his work before he passed, now they go overboard in coverage of this man's death.Everything else is BS.Thank you, young lady, for your concise, prescient words.Your Mom and Dad must be proud of you.
I liked some of his work "Knight's Tale" & "The Patriot". I think it depends on how he died whether or not to call it a tragedy or not. Right now it looks like it's an overdose, and if it was some sort of accidental overdose taking legal drugs given by a doctor then yes....it's tragic. However if this was another stupid celebrity suicide, or accidental overdose of illegal drugs then I could care less, they had coming.
But even if that's the case, I dont see how it changes anything. He's still gone, his family is still grief-stricken, and his potential is still wiped away. I'd call that a tragedy (no disrespect to you intended).
I not trying to be mean or disrespectful, but I just don't feel sorry for anyone who takes their own life. Or for someone who does something incredibly stupid which knowingly might cause their own death. You're right about the kid though, it's a shame for the kid.
He was a good man, and it's tragic that we must loose him now, but such is life, and we must learn to allow death to take its place. Heith will be missed, but we must move on, and rather than sulk for him, follow in his footsteps :) Good luck Emily.
May he rest in peace

Though I know nothing of the man's work, as I'm not an avid movie fan myself, I felt really touched by your tribute.

Well done Emily.
I have to admit he was a really talented actor. He and Leonardo DiCaprio were 2 of my favorite "young" actors.
I felt the same way when River Phoenix died, he also was very talented and died way too young.
