Jus Wanna Say That I Had My Braces On 4eva like over four years and they was expensive to get and i only got them tightend once so i was jus wearin them lyk an accessory...they wanted to charge me six hundred nd twenty five dollars to remove them... -__- smh . I just simply did them myself for free and it was painless i dont recommend it because i dont want anybody hettin hurt but once you pull that wire out taking them off your teeth is sooo simple just gotta scrape that glue off.. :)

See, I have braces and in a couple weeks I'm getting my braces of. I just wanted to know 3 things. Does it hurt it all? (The reason why i'm askin is because he is a grown man so it didn't hurt as much cause I think he has been through worst.) Do you clean were the brakets and wires have been so it doesnt leave a line acoss you mouth? & In a estimate of how long it takes what would you say how long it would be?

I'm excited to get a retainer and to be finished with braces! :) I'll have to use my retainer at night time for life probably though. Wear it everyday for about a year or so? I dunno. its not painful at all! My braces are still on (coming of next summer) but i got them tightened about 1-2 months ago and when they're tightening braces (train tracks) they need to take the bands off and the wires out. I didn't really feel anything to be honest with you, but my teeth was sore for a couple days after, but thats with tightening not with removal :) The bands are like elastic bands that just snap off :) My bands are pink :D

Is there a way you can go back to your original ortho? Explain to her that you are moving to France and tell her to take them off. She's right about no other doctor wanting to touch your teeth, as far as inside the US is concerned. I don't know how it is in France bu that's the way the US goes. If she takes them off you can always ask for your records &take them to your new ortho in France
