It is a fun gun. Right, it is not designed for hunting. Our 2nd Amendment wasn't designed for hunting either. Converting the Saiga is not hard. It did not require a machine shop. Basic tools, files. Pretty easy. restoring the gun as it should be!

Also they havn't really changed anything from the rifle inport ban wording. The saiga 12 already complies with all of those criterion and would therefore be cleared. It is true that they have stopped approving imports until a decision has been made, but once it is, the Saiga 12 passes all of the requirements "as is"

Where did you see that they have been outlawed. As far as I am aware the ATF hasn't made an official announcement yet, unless I'm missing something.
