Hi it is nice to know that somebody else is on here that either lives in Ballston Spa or has somebody that lives in my town. I live like 5 minuets from Kelly park and take my daughter to play their every year=) I havnt been down thier yet this year so I am defently going to drive by thier soon today. yes That is the worse it has been as far as I can remember and I am 29 this year!
and I remember hearing the Ambulance going by that day=) I live off of the road that is Bomens apple orchard=)
@jsrcamp I was just there taking pictures of 2 American Bald Eagles and you cant really use the park. The grass is still too wet, there is snow and forget about walking the trail down back. I guess if you wanted to you could wear boots but Id wait to take a walk. You'll recognize me, Im the grandmother with the chinese little girl and the camera :-) Please say hello :-)

I moved from Saratoga in late October to SW NM. Old neighbors where I used to live told me that they hadn't seen as much snow in the last 30+ years. Guess I made it out just in time. Both times it snowed here it melted in 2 hours. Watched your other snow vlogs and want to say Thank you for reminding me what I am fortunate to have missed.
@10susan10 Lucky You, thanks I THINK? LOL Its too late for me to go, I cant leave my grandkids. My family is so good to me Id be afraid to go live anywhere else. I often think it would be nice to be somewhere warm year round but where? With who? Anywhere Id go I would be alone and friendless so why go? All I need is here except for this darn snow! Its snowing like crazy as I type and Im not kidding, its snowing hard today.
Oh my goodness!! She's practically got rapids in her backyard-- my heart goes out to all these folks who lose part of their yards every Spring like this. My sincere hope your granddaughter stays safe and dry!
@frozencanuckreviews Yes they do, its amazing sometimes, the damage that is done by rushing water. The fire dept. here is pretty good about getting people pumped out etc. I went by today and its at a totally normal & safe stage at this point : -)
That's a lot of water. Ir may flood here. I am in the flood zone :( Mom is in the basement of the same building. They say if it floods this year it's going to be a bad one... Peace.
@AxeMoose WOW, before it starts Dave, try to get what belongings she has up off the floor. Use plastic or deep dishes to put under the legs of the sofa and chairs. Pile stuff on the sofa or tip the chairs onto the sofa. Just get everything atleast 6 inches off the floow. Best of luck to you and hopfully it will miss you!
it seems pretty scary with the creek, can't believe what's happening to the earth. everyday there's something new at the news about earthquakes and things like that!
@musicologiststewball Its all so scary isnt it Max? Sheesh, I think the population has to start giving thanks and taking better care of the earth and each other :-)
@ThatAussieFamily Its pretty scary and then the evening skies were so beautiful! It ended in a weird beautiful evening. Beautiful pink and blue skies and then the fire like ending of the sun finally going down. I have to babysit today so Im going to swing by the bridge by the park to see if they got it to break open last night or not? I hope so because there are several dozens of families who live along that creek. Thank you for commenting :-)
@GMPNY - As much as I hate to say it, I think there is going to be a lot more natural disasters in the near future around the world... Its a sign on the time...Revelations.

We get a lot of flooding here in Southern Ontario too.
I'm nowhere near water so all I have to worry about it how muddy and sloppy it is.
Those poor people must panic every spring.
