  • BBB was in pretty good shape here

  • Russo seems like the obvious answer as worse WCW booker but ask guys who where with the company when Jim Herd was in charge and it would be a dead draw. El Gigante the ding dongs,Fire-breaker Chip that went around giving fire safety tips, he wanted to bring in a team called the humpbacks with the idea that the humps would stop there shoulders from touching the mat so the couldn't be pinned. And wanted Ric Flair to change his name and become a roman style gladiator with a sword and a shield. >_<

  • @TwoHandedSledge In the late 80s-early 90s almost everyone who when 2 the gym used these ugly looking workout pants (some people still use those pants). The thing is those pants don't have pockets, so wrestlers & bodybuilders got used 2 using fanny pack 2 carry their money & personal items around. Now years later, many oldschool wrestlers still have the habit of using fanny packs.

  • Only dude ever in the history of the world who is so bad ass he makes a fanny pack look cool.

  • Great sound.

  • Someone please tell me what the deal is with wrestlers and fanny packs? What is the correlation there?

  • woah bam bam owned a wrestling shop?

  • Retired wrestlers seem to make the best Bookers - Not while they're on the roster though - Or like Nash, they take advantage of the situation and put themselves over instead of the talent.

  • Because "Fanny" is slang for vagina in the UK, they were renamed "Bum Bags" over here.

    No i'm not kidding.

  • @TheBC313 I was hanging out with a British kid in Germany and he laughed his ass off when he first heard the term "fanny pack."

  • man u guys crack me up. fanny packs is where u keep the dope. spoons needles pills etc

  • Haha he didn't even have to think about it, We all knew he would say Russo because the guy fucking sucks and it's a fact not opinion.

  • DEAR GOD BRING US BACK BAM BAM BIGLOW IN RETURN WILL GIVE U JOHN CENA !!!!!!!!

  • The same Sullivan who buried Benoit, Eddie and Jericho all 3 of whom went on to win world titles.

  • @StephenAlexWalker How did Sullivan bury Benoit? When Sullivan was booking WCW in Jan 2000 he made Benoit World Champ! to extend olive branch after Benoit had affair with his wife...How did he bury Jericho? I'd have kept Jericho in same position he was in also cause he REFUSED to sign new contract...so why would you push him? Sullivan made Eddie US Champ to change perception that he was just a cruiserweight. Maybe WCW would have made them World Champs if they were still in business Dec 01 & 2004

  • @nWoWolfpacTV Sullivan hated Benoit (understandably) and only gave Benoit the title to stop him leaving. You have to look at what these guys achieved Benoit WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Eddie WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Jericho 6 time WWE champion these guys should have been main eventing in WCW and they were held down in the mid card

  • @StephenAlexWalker During Benoit's WCW run he was only World Title material late 99 onwards, WCW made him World Champ in 00...WWE made him World Champ in 04! Eddie was never ready to be Main Eventer during his WCW tenure...he went to WWF & was a midcard comedy act before they fired him in 2001, took 4 years for him to win strap after he improved...Jericho is another guy who should not have Main Evented during his WCW tenure. Booker T, Raven & Steiner were ready but not Benoit, Jericho & Eddie.

  • @nWoWolfpacTV

"Booker T, Raven & Steiner were ready"

Disagree with you abt raven, that whole character is perpetual lower mid card material. If he was less angry, calmer and better presented and a nihlist like he was otherwise, the gimmick would have been awesome, instead he was just this rebel loser.

  • @gengarjetty The Flock really cheapened his character.

  • @Haushinka1000Hours

so did that awful hair and clumsy makeup, that's just lower midcard material to me.

  • This looks like it was filmed in 2001. Right?

  • I hope Russo doesn't run TNA out of business

  • Jimmy Hart as booker?

Can you imagine for how many years Hogan would have been the champ?

  • @gkgyver actually in the last year of wcw, they gave jimmy hart control over wcw saturday night and jimmy used it to get to get some of the younger guys over

  • I wish he was still alive not only because he is awesome but because I always wanted a chance to see him in real life and figure out what its tattooed on his head.

  • @vernsi It's a ball of flames.

  • first off RIP BAM BAM...one of the best big men in wrestleing point blank, athletic as hell....second Russo is a con man SUCKED as a booker in WCW booked himself as a world champion fuck that shit...he killed WCW

  • Russo did not get Mark Henry over, not D-lo, they were never over.

    .

Rock got himself over agaist all odds given to him from backstage creative control.

    .

Edge and Christian also got themselves over. Edges original gimmick was stupid, it wasn't until he was allowed to express his real self that he got over.

    .

Russo is so far past a disgrace there isn't even a word for it. The guy is a skidmark.

  • Bam Bam Bigelow for WWE Hall Of Fame 2012! RIP

  • Bam Bam is the best big man of all time. And a cool guy. RIP Bam Bam.

  • man those are alot of wrestling mags would love to know where did this take place?

  • hahaha. how badass can you look with a fanny pack ? that badass^

  • the best working big man in the business...r.ip. bammer!!

  • R.I.P. Bammy

  • RIP!

  • I loved Bigelow. Too bad he died.

  • I remember when Jimmy Hart was booking Saturday Night and it was better than Nitro and Thunder combined.

  • RIP! Bammer!

One of the fastest big guys.

  • @videozfann A fast big guy? You should see Samoa Joe.

  • @CMY187 Heard of him.

  • @CMY187 this guy was revolutionary bro

  • I'd say Paul heyman was the best Booker of all time. On ECW, Smackdown and wwecw he was awesome.

  • Someone as awesome as Bam Bam wearing a fanny pack? My world just got turned upside down.

  • @wingsofmajesty The fanny pack is a staple of the 90s wrestler (behind the scenes).

  • @DoctorDerpenstein Fuck, it's just a staple of the 90's period.

  • @wingsofmajesty Ive seen Insulin pumps disguised as Fanny Packs. Could it be he had diabetes or some other medical type defect? I dunno. Just takin a guess.

  • @goddimmus He did have diabetes and it contributed to his eventual demise. :\

  • @wingsofmajesty where you gonna put stuff?

  • Bam Bam gives a real enlightening interview. RIP beast!

  • Bam Bam left ECW for WCW, that was his big mistake ... how was Jimmy Hart a good booker? all he did was copy WWF

  • It took Bigelow all of one second to decide who was the very worst booker of wrestling.

Vince Russo being hired by TNA? If you are stupid enough to bring that asshole into your company, then you pretty much deserve whatever shit he'll come up for your promotion.

  • @CMY187 thats not very nice. :(

  • @Makoto03 I guess that last statement was directed at Dixie Carter.

Jerry and Jeff Jarrett created TNA in '02, and it kicked off and went crazy(X Division, man!). Then, after hiring Russo, the company began a downward slide that became a headlong plunge after Hogan and Bitchoff entered the picture.

TNA promised to deliver what WWE wouldn't: excellent professional wrestling. Then it turned around and stabbed its fans in the back.

To Hell with TNA. I'm only watching ROH and NOAH.

  • @CMY187 what is ROH and NOAH?

  • @Makoto03 NOAH is a japanese promotion. I have no idea why americans watch japanese promotions, dont get me wrong, its good wrestling, but the japanese commentators are too much for my english ears to handle. ROH is ring of honor. The TOP 3 promotions in america today are CZW, ROH, & WXW. They are the top 3, with the best rosters and cards.

  • @cashcrazywhiteboy oh, i see. thanks. :)

  • @cashcrazywhiteboy: Y'know, I always prefer the Japanese commenting, truth be told. They're mostly quiet.

No, you want crazy commenting, watch anything in Mexico, ever.

  • i think Russo disliked this twice...

  • fantastic facepalm at the "Nash as booker" question :D

Bam Bam was a legend, gotta find the full video :<

  • @EmperorBubba LMAO!!! Tremendous. I think you might be right.

  • Damn, when I was a kid watching these guys as I was growing up, I used to believe they were almost God-like. Never once did the thought of one of these guys dying cross my mind. So when it actually happened, it shocked the shit outta me. RIP Bam Bam and all the other great wrestlers that has been lost.

  • peace 2 Bam Bam bust a cartwheel in heaven for ya boy

  • LMFAO @ Bam Bams reaction to Nashs booking.. Classic! lol

  • HAHA I remember Russo being Vic Venom LoL... little kids wouldn't even know who he is.

  • russo always had a bunch of bad wrestlers....i mean if you had the rock and austin, you can put a 5 yr old in the lead writer's seat and it will still be exciting....russo had a bunch of life failures and wrestling failures to work with in WCW.....i wont judge russo negatively or positively....but i like to see someone try to write good storylines with jeff jarrett, goldberg, ddp, nash and hall....GOD himself couldnt make those guys exciting to watch....cut russo some slack....

  • wow Bigelow seems like a really down to earth guy in reality..nice to see in wrestling where everyone and their wife has an ego

  • who did this shoot?? i have the RF one but this one looks better Bammer was the man !!! RIP....I hope someone can tell me who made this so i can buy this.

  • sound is shit

  • @1EPowerUp So buy the DVD you sorry sack of shit.

  • @PUNKem733 not the point assclown. why post a vid with sound noone can hear

  • @1EPowerUp "Assclown" LOL fucking about as weak as you are poor. Maybe he tried his best getting it to sound fine, maybe he's not technically good enough to upload shit right. I bet you stand by your mailbox anticipating the first for your welfare check.

  • @PUNKem733 im poor? thats the best you got? "maybe hes not technically good enough to upload shit right" - the brightest thing youve ever said.

  • @1EPowerUp Not the best I got, but I was dumbing down my insults to your level, with that played out assclown BS.

  • hes on something here

  • what year was this from, looks real old with those mags in the background

  • god i remember the old wwf magazines with russo the VIC VENOM section lol

  • @Leg3ndKilla687 russo did the vic venom

  • @ke444 huh...yah lol

  • @Leg3ndKilla687 i didnt know i was in the 6th grade at the time...................DAMN RUSSO SUCK

  • Can't hear shit.

  • LOOOOL @ The reaction @ 2:40

  • russo flopped in wcw cus vince wasnt there to overlook the ideas plus wcw was goin downhill so it wasnt like wcw was gunna get back on top again

  • @ESSJ333 wcw was always on top, they had control, things were poping for wcw. With nWo they had rating through the roofs & beat wwf 98 weeks in a row.

  • Since I'm from the area, I enjoy Bam Bam's Asbury Park, New Jersey accent.

  • Your only as good as you last run and Sullivan's booking from Jan00-Apr00 was the absolute fucking shits. End of story.

  • Kevin Sullivan is talking to TNA right now about getting on with the writing team and he has written a full years booking for TNA they reported

  • @660Juggalo I thought I saw his name on the closing credits on that new show after TNA. RIP Bam Bam

  • Bam Bam is dead on with everything he said. it should also be noted that he is so high on blow during this interview its not even funny, RIP big man.

  • @ShinobuReviews how the hell do you know

  • @Amazingjourney20 I've seen the effects of it first hand, look at how he can't keep his legs still and keeps touching his nose.

  • @ShinobuReviews Ohh okay

  • @ShinobuReviews I believe you are right and he did have it in his system at the time of his death.

  • Funny how everyone hates Russo but still has a job, even though TNA is clearly going the way of WCW. RIP Bam Bam

  • i saw the shoot with russo and ferrara and both of them come off pretty good but i always hear from anybody when you ask "tell me how was russo in wcw" and they all say "he was a douchebag" i dunno, its different being a fan and seeing this shit on tv vs whats in the ring

  • So many guys in wrestling say that Russo is sh*t. Why don't the wrestling companies listen? Why does an idiot like Russo keep getting jobs in wrestling?

  • @RevDarkehorse because dixie carter is a fucking idiot

  • WCW was safer and more well run than ECW, cause the wrestlers got paid and it was run more like a business. but it was FAR from perfect, which is home russo got in

  • what up with wrestling magazine in the back ground ?

  • Bam Bam actually had a good mind for the business, I agree with what he said about Jimmy Hart

  • whos the first Kevin he is talkin about?

  • He clearly says "Sullivan, Kevin".

  • Best booker WCW ever had was Dusty. Say what you want but the early to mid eighties the NWA was the best! Kevin wasn't a bad booker at all. And why do young guys have to be pushed? Push them if they have talent, but they need to earn it! If old guys can still bring it, and better why not push them?

  • @Murphdogg4 I agree with that fully

  • @Murphdogg4 In WCW's case the old guys either couldn't bring it or would rather do as little as they could for as much money as they could. Nash himself said he once worked a year and only did 2 matches and made 6 figures. What a WASTE! The WWF did a much better job in the mid 90s bringing up new talent. Triple H paired up HBK, The Rock paired up with Ron Simmons/Farooq in the NOD, etc...

  • I remember I thiink it was in '99 when WCW Saturday Night was a dying show, Jimmy Hart supposedly took over as booker for awhile and actually pushed unknown talents on that show along with lower level talent like Tokyo Magnum, and they had their own weekly storylines and feuds for a short time. I thought it would of been cool had they left Hart the booker for that show because it was kind of interesting seeing guys like Mike Tolbert get credible air time

  • That is true.Watch his 2005 Hall Of Fame induction. He was the one that pushed guys like Booker-T,Y2J & Benoit basically getting them ready for what was store for them later on their careers

  • Russo was a damn good writer for WWE during the breakthru of the attitude era. Why did he leave for WCW? He indeed did suck with them

  • cause his head was so fucking big after the attitude era he decided to take more money from Turner and sold them on the idea that he MADE vince

  • Cant wait until Hogan gets revenge and fires that candy ass Russo

  • the best booker is kevin nash, ha just kidding

  • the good thing about russo is also one of the bad things bout russo, russo does realize that you have to get young guys over, when he was in wwe, he helped get over Rock, val venis, mark henry, d-lo brown, edge and christian, in wcw, he helped give booker and scott steiner their first big singles push and also tried to get over kidman and The Wall and Crowbar, BUT he does it at the expense of established talent and makes them look silly in the process

  • @chriskoob I agree. Russo may have played a big roll in the WWF but when he came to WCW he was entering a completely different ballgame. Part of why it worked in the WWF is really because there weren't that many established stars left and they basically started from scratch. Plus in WCW no one wanted to give up their established spot which made making new stars pretty damn tough.

  • @chriskoob that was the past, in tna russo wouldnt let sting put over daniels or nash put over joe just off of the top of my head

  • @chriskoob i never knew that

  • @chriskoob I agree. Hulk Hogan said in his first book that Russo tried to "separate the lettuce from the tomatos, but you need a mixture of both to make the salad work."

  • @JasonL77 lets not get started on hogan, since he screwed robert roode out of the tna title

  • @chriskoob I'm not trying to say Hogan dosen't have a gigantic ego himself, but he did make a good point about Russo. That's pretty much what Russo did in WCW.

  • @JasonL77 That book was largely a work of fiction he claimed 93,000 people were at Mania 3 as if it really happened.

  • @StephenAlexWalker Whether or not Hogan lied about the 93,000 at Wrestlemania is irrelevent. That is what Russo did in WCW. He divided up the older, established guys against all the new, young guys& played it as if all the veterans were holding all the young talent down. Remember the Millionaire's club vs. New Blood? Not evry veteran holds down talent & not every new guy deserves a push.

  • @JasonL77 The problem was the old guys were the faces completely ruining the storyline

  • best booker in the history of wcw was gary hart, cause alot of people dont know that hart was booking the angles in 89 for the funk/flair feud, and sting/muta and from may of 89 till the end of 89 when hart left wcw was on a roll. RIP Playboy Gary Hart

  • @chriskoob Hart booked that 1989 period? Remember Starrcade '89 with the 4 tag teams and 4 singles? Awesome event. Gary Hart was one of my favourites! Especially managing Muta, telling the referee to make sure Muta could see the ref's fingers on a count when Muta went for a pin.

  • r.i.p. bam

  • Wow I miss him. He goes back back to being in NES wrestling games. SMH. BAM BAM...

  • wow... Bam Bam was great. I miss watching him work. funny to hear his takes on things here.

  • what a legend

  • I love Bam Bam

    RIP Bam

  • RIP Bam, and agreed Rusoo SUCKS

  • @hungryandrew : BIG TIME!..God Bless him! =0|

  • RIP BAM
