The Muslim radicals will of course respond by falsifying passports and names but that is very difficult to do correctly so their operations will be more difficult.

Have you even done basic research on that topic before writing that comment? Single medical X-ray is approx. 5-10 milirem of radiation. Single backscatter X-ray body scanner used in security is approx. 0.005~0.01 milirem. Everything below 1 milirem is negligible, safe upper limit is 25 milirem per year. Unless you're planning few hundred flights per year I think you're pretty safe...
