I watched the actually lion king video on here and I couldn't see the sex thing maybe it happens too fast. If it's there I think that's distasteful and wrong but I still love the lion king I think that's the cleanest out of them honestly. Truth is, yea, Disney movies are great movies: love them, but its true they have a little bit of dirtiness. Don't be offended at people who point it out.
In my mind everyone here and all around needs to get a life. The secrets messages things is a joke. to be funny. Not serious. And Lion King in general is a story of Simba and his hard life and how he wins over his kingdom. Its not made to be some movie about Joseph or anything. Its just a story about a Lion who becomes a king.

The Lion King was intentionally made to resemble the storIes of Joseph and Moses, but also to reflect Hamlet by William Shakespeare. HOWEVER i agree with everyone else. WHO FRICKING CARES???? it's a kid movie. a 4 year old is not gonna be like "hey, that's a reference to jesus" THEY'RE JUST GONNA WATCH THE MOVIE AND ENJOY IT, LIKE WE ALL SHOULD!!!

If you'd get your mind off the word "sex" for a minute and actually watch the movie for what it is, maybe you'd get a different message. The message I believe it projects, and the message I hope the children also get (absent someone pointing out things most people would never see, if in fact they are even there at all), is a story written in a way for children to understand something of far more value and importance in thier lives.
@CirclingSkies If you think about the story, there are many scenes that reflect another story; a similar story but very true that happened long ago.
The movie starts with the birth of a King (first clue); all the animals of the jungle come to celebrate his birth and bow down to their newborn king except Scar - the evil one! Simba leaves the pride at a young age, but returns again as an adult to save his "people" from the evils of Scar.
When the wise old Shaman, Rafikki, finds him, Simba discovers that Rafikki knew his father and tells him his father is dead. Rafikki replies, "Correction, I KNOW your father; he is alive; come, I'll show you the way." When Rafikki directs him to look into the water, Simba sees only his own reflection but Rafikki says, "No, look harder, he lives in you."
Simba looks again into the water and does indeed see his father in his reflection. His father then speaks to him saying, "Look inside yourself; you must take your place in the Circle of Life; Remember Who You Are, you are my Son and the one true King."
He now knows what he must do, returns to Pride Rock, defeats the evil one and returns Pride Rock to its beauty and abundance and rules over his kingdom as the King he was born to be.
I believe I saw a much better story than you did. And the message is much clearer. Such a shame you missed it -- why don't you try it again?
