The thing is that we can clone maybe all the human features like the facial feature, but the being inside will never be the same, but if a child that lost her/his parents a long time ago, and only have like photos of them, then it wouldn't be "too" bad to actually clone forth a parent like that.... Theraputic cloning should be explored thoroughly. It would be a wonder to recieve body parts/organs for those who are in need, and to have the body accept them without rejection. The faster this research is done the quicker it will make it cheap enough for the common man to use. After 20+ different species have been created, i would say we are well on our way. It is also usually a 1/800 chance to clone, so narrowing this gap would be even better.

I don't see whats wrong with cloning, but cloning to replace people is just disgusting it will wreck the clones life if they find out and the real version is still dead, its not making you live longer its just like getting another dog after your old one died.

yea i agree with eric. i personally think that religion is slowing down the advancement of technology. any time that something challenges the beliefs of a religion, everyone freaks the fuck out and it slows the advancement of humans by ten fold. I, who am a confirmed catholic, think that the religion that freaks out the most is indeed the christian church. Politics should stick with politics, science should stick with science, and religion should do a little less of whatever their trying to do

Theraputic cloning should be explored thoroughly. It would be a wonder to recieve body parts/organs for those who are in need, and to have the body accept them without rejection. The faster this research is done the quicker it will make it cheap enough for the common man to use. After 20+ different species have been created, i would say we are well on our way. It is also usually a 1/800 chance to clone, so narrowing this gap would be even better.

the first brain transplant from a human to another human was accomplished not too long ago. yes it would be possible to become fully bionic but it would cost ungodly amounts of money.

There's a reason for death and technically it will not be the same person. Yeah they may look exactly the same, but it's the soul of that person you fall in love with. People are who they are because of what has happened in their lives. No one can ever recreate that. Not even god could recreate the exact same situations, feelings, thoughts, reactions someone has that shapes them. Cloning is something dangerous to be messing with.
