to god be the glory but....that is NOT a "church song" ....just cuz you put god in it makes it a "church song"...? ...i really don't like when the church folk do that. a real gospel song(beat) would have work just as well

This girl sounds very good. I love the message behind the song. On the other hand, this is a nice version of it. I believe one of the Clark Sisters has a version, as well. But Jill Scott has the best version of the original piece when it comes down to emotion and true sincerity . However, as I stated above the message behind this piece is equally important!

Of course, the song is written by Jill Scott. Karen Clark-Sheard also recorded it but the arrangement being sang here was done before Karen's version came out. We have literally had worship and altar calls after ministering this song.
