i think maia and hendo can beat him, ovbiously im sure he can beat them as well. he being known as no.1 pfp by the ufc and there for most fans is being overated... fedor, lyoto and possibly gsp and even possibly mousasi are p4p better. his size is too big a factor in his fights as well. forrest will be the 1st person hes ever fought thats bigger than him, if he can beat forrest ill be impressed and he'll definatly be no.3.

Word, couldn't agree with you more, i can't see him standing a chance against Forrest but that's my opinion, i feel he's been too comfortable against people who couldn't compete with his reach it'll be a huge shock to his system. Fedor is immense, Lyoto great and something new with his style and GSP just great all around. But we can't take away what Anderson's done to people in the Middle-weight division in UFC, Cage Rage and Shooto. Light heavy he won't cut it imo though. I love the guy too.

id put him at 2nd/3rd as i think lyoto and fedor are better but gsp stylisticaly is andersons worst nightmare so really i think p4p looks like this

I agree for the most part but I think lyoto is a bit overrated, anderson silva got his bjj black belt from a cereal box though, I mean the only talented submission fighter he's fought is jeremy horn and he's been submitted twice by fairly unknown guys. Fedor is far beyond anderson silva just because he has knockout power as well as a strong chin and arguably the best jiu jitsu in mma, (I say arguably not for sure).

fedor is by far and away the best fighter to ever live, and tbh easily still pfp the best fighter on the planet. gsp/anderson are either 2nd and 3rd pfp and mousasi/shogun/bj are either 4th, 5th, 6th atm. jacare has the best acctual bjj in mma, and imo aoki has the best mma adapted bjj, overall fedor is definatly a contender for having the best overall ground tho!!

@karoolta Mousasi is very talented. Hope he gets his belt back next time I have a lot of faith in him. Him taking on Silva at 205 would be tough because I don't think he has the stamina, but he might have the chin and his striking might work. A fighter needs to beat A. Silva is heavy hands, good cardio, and real impressive chin. I think Shogun has all those and we should see that at some point in 2011, that would be great to see Silva get smashed!

That's because a lot of people thought he would do the smart thing and take Silva to the ground and pound and Submit possibly with a triangle because Forest is pretty good at those. No, the cool but in this case foolish dude just swung for the fences even when he was already knocked out and didn't know it.
