There is the very submissive attitude of the general public...including our friend James here. An other TAX....well ok then...we just gonna have to pay it, right! Also the mention of I quote 'You are going to bother people" YES Whale that's the idea of demos because if you're so keen on pointing the finger to someone then point it towards Mr Chalkey, her is responsible for all this mess, we were quiet happy to mind our own business before that.
James Whale, by nature this guy like to argue and not agree with anything so fair judgment is already out of the window here. "We all have to pay" he says, well that's a good one, no is the answer we don't have to pay just because you get a kick up the a** every night it doesn't make it right. Yell and complain is the first that comes to my mind and make sure you don't get anymore is the second.
Westminster introduced these charges saying that they were needed to pay for extra parking bays they put in (they never mention the bike bays they removed two years previously.) The new bays cost £23,000 - that amount was raised in fees and fines in the first 6 weeks of the trial!
A year later they've raked in £4 MILLION. 16,000 people commute into London every day - what happens when those people decide to get in their cars?
Westminster council - a bunch of money-grabbing gangsters in suits.
