I respect him for getting up there but he's quite simplistic. Not much melody, nor not that challenging, great for a beginner and maybe thats what he is but a little simplistic for me. Look at Erik Mongrain or Preston Reed or Jeff Lang.

i mean ya compared to preston reed it may be simplistic, but compared to most acoustic players its brilliant, plus the song writing is pretty good,listne to the full version of the song and u might like it a bit more, u can actully hear the 2 ninjas battling

Music isn't about making something that is technically complex. It's about conveying emotion and entertaining. Any clown can practice over and over every day and be amazingly technically proficient, but that doesn't mean they'll ever make a good song in their life. People like you just try to talk like you know about music, when you're really clueless. You probably complain to your friends about how you should be famous instead of someone that is. What a joke. Trace Bundy is great.

Kaki King is a rip off artist with no talent what so ever. Her song playing with pink is a crappy rendition of andy mckees drifting, her sound half the time on that song is laughable and she should be shot.

Umm... How can you day that? Kaki King doesnt have a creative bone in her body. Sure, she's somewhat technically talented, but she's not original, all of her "tricks" are taken from other guitarists, ie Preston Reed. With her its all about the technical skill, not about the music. She's well known because she's a woman, which really isn't cool.

I agree, that can happen. I mean technical ability is about repetition. It's like using a drill for the first time, you make an arse of it, then a few goes down the way - perfect holes accuratley placed (strange metaphor), but it's mundane. Writing a melody is the second side to creating a song - that's the creative side. The other stuff is like learning verbs of an alien language, might be important but having a conversation will be boring without knowing the beauty of the language.
