to somebody who wrote to me that Jason wrote 70% of cacophony's material. That is bullshit. Marty wrote the most. Jason didnt have his later phrasing in most of cacophony era. He got alot of that from Marty. Yes he surpassed Marty in playability right from the beginning, but there's more to a player than just playing. Marty always was the better writer and had more feeling and stage presence. As you may notice jason just tended to walk around in alot of the footage of them. Not dissing him!

@cerelilqt okay it's obvious you have no idea of what happened in cacophony. Jason was a young kid with marty who was a young adult. Marty had all the knowledge, Jason didn't. Marty taught jason so many things about phrasing and understanding music. Jason even said it himself. Marty wrote the majority of cacophony. Even alot of things that Jason played marty composed. The difference between them was that Jason could play more complex. However he couldn't write complex stuff yet.

@Nunez87 Marty pretty much wrote 100% of the Speed Metal Symphony album and Jason had to learn it and come up with some solos. However, from reading interviews I know that Jason had much more of an input on the Go Off album, the different sound is very much evident of Jasons influence.
