Brother, I was referring to the Battles fought by Muhammad(SAW). The fact is that most of the expansion took place after the departure of Prophet(SAW), during the reign of Umar(RA) & I am aware that these battles took place in order to establish Tawheed or to over throw a cruel ruler of the land. I support Khilafah. The times have changed. We should try to fight with our intellects first so that we could win the hearts since the Qur'an says, " There is no compulsion in the religion."

I feel pity 4 d ppl who say Islam is ruthless & violent, they r d same ppl who've nvr read Quran or no anythng about Our Prophet's lifestyle. If dey read about His(PBUH) life, dey wud come 2 know dat He(PBUH) fought most of d battles in self defense. He never askd Muslims 2 go on streets wid bombs n blow up evrythng. In fact Qur'an clearly says, "If any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people" Qur'an(5:32)
