A&M used to be a military school back in its early days in which case if you attended the school it was required to be part of the corps military training program which is like an ROTC program... the organization is taken very seriously by the school and the students, however, student's aren't required to be part of the corps anymore. Don't quote me on this but i believe all corps members are required to attend each home game and some road games
