i used to love her so so much! i wanted to me like her. britney was so sweet, her songs made me feel better although they weren't complicated or ambitious too much. I love her from 1999-2004/5. She was so happy, funny, radiant... I don't want her to sing disco! I know she's older and mature but in my opinion that was her best time and i miss it so much.

I don't know if she's less happy now, but nothing's as exciting 10 years later as it was in the beginning. In 2001, a lot of things were still pretty new for her. Now, she's done everything and met everyone. I'm sure that she still has fun, but it takes big things (like seeing her Femme Fatale stage for the first time) to get her excited now. Not to mention, teenage girls are usually more giddy than grown women anyway, lol. I think that fans read into things too much.
