@kman278 You have drastically mislabeled this video. A WEPKey is the password to log on to a Wireless Network. You can not retrieve a default gateway until you log on to said network. - You also can not retrieve a wepkey from another computer on the network as without the key in the first place you wouldn't be on the network. - Plus Windows wont let you export a key either. - this video is 100% wrong and irrelevant.

this is not the wep key, this is only the ip adress, in nothing as wepkey, yo may need to use the inyection of packages for decript the key, need about between 5000 to 35000 IV, sorry for my english, I don't speak this languaje, :p

Tis requires the computer already to be connected to the network, so you already know its WEP-key... And the web page you'll go to is the router's setting page, most likely if you have set a WEP key that one will also be password-protected. So this way you can't find anything out.

a modem is used in DSL to connect through the phone line and you can also get a combo with the modem and wireless router, the router 'routes' the wireless broadband wirelessly like bluetooth but with a larger range and faster

I'll make it simple: the box that you got from your internet provider (ISP) its called a modem. Usually a DSL modem has a built in router. You know this by looking at the back if it has more than one port that looks like a phone jack but bigger that means u can connect more than 1 device . hence the namer router (connections are split). cable modem, usually it doesnt have a builtin router. If you have more than 1 devices connected to the internet using 1 ISP u have a router.
