The intro is eight notes, and on the second repeat goes down an octave. Then when the drum beat kicks in you play the sixteenths. There's some stuff missing in the pre chorus. But still it's a decent cover.

There´s no advantage but usually, fingers make it sound smoother than with a pick

and it´s also way harder with fingers at this speed than it is with a pick

normally, you just use a pick to get a different sound!
