it has almost the same GEMA engine in the Dodge Caliber SRT-4 the Caliber SRT-4 has the GEMA 2.4L turbo (turbo made by mitsubishi) with D V V T,it gives out 285hp .
GEMA means global engine manufacturing alliance(a venture between chrysler, mitsubishi, and hyundai)
Wow, I just found another magazine test on the 08' Lnacer GSR... Car & Driver 3/08. This magazine got the Lancer to 60 in 4.6 seconds, ran the 1/4 Mile in 13.4 seconds @ 103 MPH. It did 0-100 mph in 12.5 seconds. It pulled 0.97G on the skid Pad. It's 70-0 braking took only 161 FT.
He said 5.2 seconds to 60 & 13.8 in the 1/4 mile... *Road & Track got a GSR to 60 in 4.9 seconds & ran the 1/4 mile in 13.6 seconds both tests hit 101 mph at the end of the 1/4. Not bad for a 4 banger.
thats so cool they did this at my track
