Far too impatient that Ken player, played right into Dhalsim's hands.
Just got lucky that one round with that cheap-as-fuck throw loop...need to be smarter than that to win this match-up against players of Gian's calibre.
@youngbrabbit Actually it does. Back then I hated every character that I thought was purely cheap. Now after playing a lot of SF and beating quite a few high japan rankers. I realized that every character is cheap and they all take an insane amount of skill if you learn how to play them. There's playing a character, and then there's playing a character a way that you've designed it
Dhalsim players are ALMOST as worse as Chun li players. I don't know how to play either and I beat people who are good with those 2 characters. My opinion : 2 characters that take the least amount of skill to learn
That loop doesn't require any skill to do, for some reason it's just really hard to reverse, or at least hard to reverse consistantly. As long as you land close enough to your opponent then you've got a 90% chance to win the throw.
it takes some skill to get that loop right tho, just like Claw's Walldive to Flying Barcalona loop, but i guess against dhalsim its alot easier cause he has no good reversals on wakeup
@Lightninggates I think the only reason he was using it is because he was fighting a sim player in the first place, sim has no way to reversal it so his only two options are to either counter with a throw of his own which is harder in my opinion since if you both mash throw on the same frame it's a 50/50 chance or to yoga teleport out of ken's range on the block stun.
wow who let the ken guy into the tourney? how the hell did he even qualify? the only reason he beat gian that one was becuase he was being a grab noob like everyone on xbox live. pathetic
hahah this ken is so hard headed and lazy

I loved seeing ken loop that grab! Teach Sim a lesson, even if Gian is a superior player, I still fuckin hate Sim.
