Also i dont think Yates could of transitioned very well with showing his dead body and then showing his limbo state. maybe but who knows. Its already made so you gotta watch what was made. @NivekztyleDj Why? What purpose would showing his body have served? To make sure the audience knows he's dead? Because I think watching him get hit with a known insta-kill curse then waking up in a bright white place with no injuries kinda did the trick. Besides, that's how it happened in the book. He saw Voldemort say the words, so a bright flash of green, and the very next sentence has him waking up in the ethereal King's Cross.

We're not just watching Harry, we're supposed to feel like we are Harry, so I think the film did a great job of keeping us with him.

If anything, it was best that Dumbledore kept it from him, because I don't think Harry would have been prepared when he was younger. Dumbledore was trying to help Harry grow into a man who wouldn't be afraid to sacrifice himself, and I'd say he did a pretty swell job.
